The Pope is soft on Islam.

Encourages Homosexuality.
"It is deplorable that homosexual persons have been and are the object of violent malice in speech or in action. Such treatment deserves condemnation from the church's pastors wherever it occurs."

He is overtly humble and does not embrace his office:

He makes a point of extolling women and the Church.

On those neo-pelagians that think they can earn their way to heaven through piety instead of charity:

He cares about the environment:

He even hates Capitalism:

I agree, They are twisting his words and their meaning.
However he does seem a bit Naïve to me and has not learned yet that he must think before speaking as every word out of his mouth will be taken at it’s lowest meaning.
He is new to this Pope game, didn’t want it in the first place, right now he is being tested.

The Pope directly succeeds Jesus Christ as the leader of the Church. Are you saying that Jesus Christ had no authority? Just wondering.............
Just his being from Argentina told me that he was liberal.
Capitalism as envisioned by our Founders required self-regulation rooted in morality, generally based in religion.
It was never about flat-out absolute selfishness and greed.
How is that statement encouraging homosexuality? It's encouraging neighborly love ... exactly what Jesus taught. That does not mean condoning or encouraging sinful behavior, however. No one should be victims of violent malice in speech or action. Let's just think about the parable of the Good Samaritan for example.

No, not really. The Holy Father is Christ’s vicar, not His successor.
In addition it clearly states that Yah'shua is not the Elohim of creation. The Ecclesia was started in Deuteronomy 4:10. Interesting statement.
