My wife of nearly 30 years and I received news yesterday that she is suffering from a melanoma. She will have more tests done at a yet to be determined time to see how far it has spread. She will need an invasive surgery to remove the one obvious tumor.
She and I have been Bible believing Christians our whole life together (We met and fell in love in Bible school) and we are clinging to prayer and God's Word.
This is a request to our Christian friends here on Free Republic to pray for her during this time.
She is a long time Freeper, a solid conservative and has been an active participant here on this forum since the Clinton years.
All prayers and advice from people who have dealt with similar issues are most welcome.
Pet Scan Scheduled For Monday Jun 10 in Honolulu. Please pray for flight from one of the outer islands where out home is. We will be staying with our niece which is a blessing that we have family over on the other island.
Pray that the results are encouraging and for faith and strength to buoy our spirits.

Meeting scheduled with specialist also in Honolulu on Wednesday to discuss results from scan.
