Do we love those inclined to homosexuality enough to stop same-sex ‘marriage’?

Let’s get one thing straight.

In this battle over same-sex ‘marriage’ it often sounds like those pushing the dismantling of traditional marriage have the upper hand in terms of love. ‘You are opposed to love!’; ‘How does the love between me and my partner affect you in your marriage?’; ‘Why can’t I be allowed to love whomever I choose?’

These are the tough arguments from ‘love’ facing those who are fighting to protect marriage from radical redefinition.

In truth, however, love is the principle reason to fight same-sex ‘marriage.’

You see, law is a teacher and enshrining same-sex ‘marriage’ in law would lead many people to believe that homosexual sexual relations are equal to those of heterosexual married couples. The difficulty, of course, is that while sexual acts between heterosexual married couples can be totally healthy and positive, the same can never be said of sexual acts between persons of the same sex, whether they happen within a relationship given the name “marriage” or not.

Our bodies were not designed for that behavior, and our anatomy itself gives that testimony. The negative mental and physical health consequences that flow from homosexual sex are many and the medical evidence pointing to them is readily available on LifeSiteNews.

Like you say- we are very rapidly enterign the last days where evil is seen as good (as seen by the absolutely abhorrant filthy foul disgusting things they are teachign kids i nschools these days- ) and where good is hated and loathed with vehement disgust by the left- The day will soon come when they are so angry at TRUE CHristians that our lives will be in danger and crowds will cheer those that persecute Christians and be whipped into murderous fenzies at hte thought of murderign morality and htose that stand for it-

1. Homosexual behavior is deviant and disgusting.
2. Forcing SCOTUS to take up the issue from California,
may result in a nation wide go ahead for homo-marriage
instead of limiting it to 9 liberal states.
3. I see news clips now saying SCOTUS is likely to rule
DOMA as unconstitutional.
4. Let sleeping dogs lie.
5. Learn from Akin & Mourdock examples.

The States under the 9th Circuit wishing to prevent the perversion of marriage from happening can't. The Feds have already spoken. Again I ask you, where is your federalism that you advise to stick to?

The answer to your infantile question has already been revealed by the 9th, LOL. With the rate of Obama's appointments, the other circuit courts will follow the 9th thus making any SCOTUS appeal moot in your eyes, while the Feds prevail and federalism destroyed.

I answered it by making the statement that htere are no truem iracles doen today- when you can point me to a man speakign hte dead alive again, speakign hte instantanious regenration of limbs, walkign on water without artificial aids- etc I’ll cede that miracles still happen today-

I’m not ofr a minute suggestign that God does not stil lwork marvelously today- and that He doesn’t still answer prayer, however He does NOT still produce these same TRUE SUPER NATURAL miracles any longer- and IF He isn’t, then when in the bible did He differentiatwe between ‘flashy miracles’ and ‘miracles’ that might or might not be NATURALLY possible?

Can you point me to such miracle workers today? IF no, then Why is it that ONLY supernatural miracles stopped while the ‘other gifts’ apparently ‘still remain’ (althoyugh there is even cotnroversy abotu htose as well- as thignsl iek ‘speaking in toungues’ was not just someoen speakign gibberish for no purpose, but so that thsoe that spoke said miraculously inspired spontanious language were able to benifit from the toungues- however, when it suppoedly happens today, it’s not for edification of foreignbers in the congregation, but for spiritual show

I am not sure how this directly relates to my post, but in any case i do not believe that God has taken a sabbatical rest, and the needed and blessed reality is that Jesus is still showing Himself alive by doing true miracles, from regeneration to many others.

You cannot restrict "true miracles" to restoring life at a command, restoring use of limbs, eyesight, etc. though i believe these happen to a lesser degree, but a miracles is an interference with nature by a supernatural power, I was quite manifestly been healed of a lower hernia i had for years, while others have realized greater miracles.

It is true that fabrications abound (besides or ones that may be best explained by natural causes), as well as demonic miracles, but that is partly because there is a genuine which the devil seeks to imitate. And to disallow God from doing miracles would be to allow the devil to claim supremacy of power.

And while revelation gifts will cease when we see the Lord, (1Jn. 3:2) the Bible does not teach miracles are not needed, nor that the only reason God does them is to testify to His Word, but it is His nature to heal, etc., and He promised His followers would so them, (Mk. 16:20; Jn. 14:12) even if greater works is more in quantity, due to the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon all believers on one hand, and the declension of the church on the other and which i am part of).

This kind of preaching speaks of the difference versus most of the health and wealth type. Healing is not promised for all in every case, but final deliverance is. Thanks be to God in Christ.

When Christ performed His miracles- they were absolutely without question TRUE miracles- not somethign hidden liek a sore back, or supposed headaches- His miracles were for show for the Jews- they didn’t have to ever wodner “Well, hmmm, that could have been simply a spontanious remission due to the power of sugfgestion- His miracles were frotn and center for all to witness and know without a shadow of a doubt that soemthign supernatural had just taken place
