Yes but if he was and didn't resign then he's even worse than those who believe in forcing everyone to pay for abortion drugs, willingly!

One can only be blackmailed if one goes along with the blackmailer.

Roberts has a duty to resign not give Obama cover like Patraeus did.

It would be hilarious if they turned up, were immediately seized by the Swiss Guard, and dumped outside the Vatican, in the back alley where they put the garbage.

The truth will come out about all of this. I still like Roberts because he is a constitutionalist.

I don’t know anything about his “so-called blackmails” but I do know if Roberts is a Constitutionalist, he would be the first person who should know it was his obligation to resign upon his being blackmailed, not succumb to a felony and subject 220 million people to an unconstitutional law!

Roberts would not resign and give Obama an opportunity to select another liberal judge. He’s too smart for that.

This was about his adopted children, for goodness sake. Check it out. It was on FR. Roberts had been in tears according to reporters before that vote.

I think there is a lot more to this story that we do not know now, but will know in the future when Obama is impeached for such actions.

I find it a little hard to believe that a Pope wouldn’t know who is second in line to the most powerful man on earth

Oh I'm sure he'll be told that it's the VP but why would he know anything about Biden's faux Catholicism or anything about Pelosi and the American bishops sure as heck aren't going to fill him in.

We like to think the U.S. is the center of the universe but the world is a big place. There are parts of the world where Christians are being slaughtered by Muslims. The Curia is a pit of vipers. The homo-socialist bishops are hanging on to power throughout the entire Church. The Chinese government is appointing bishops. Our national politics are not high on the Pontiff's priority list.

Biden and Pelosi are either ignorant, possessed or both

They are arrogant and know that their heresy will be hailed as legitimate Catholic teaching in Catholic churches, schools, and colleges around the nation. Their receiving Communion is proof of their legitimacy.

Cardinal Wuerl, as abp of Washington DC does not believe in refusing Communion to abortion promoters.

.

do any of the cardinals present in Rome have authority over Biden or Pelosi's home bishop and therefore have the authority to instruct them not to present themselves for communion?

Nobody will say a word.

What about Roberts' adoptive children?

You seem to have inside knowledge and ready to whitewash his cow towing to Obama because of this "issue" that is more important than the rights of 200 million other citizens.

You say "when it all comes out" I'm thinking either that you have no idea but are ready to believe some Internet story, or you are sworn to secrecy. Either you know something or you believe a rumor that has spread over the Internet.

Whatever it is, I'm not ready to accept his selling out my rights, granted by the Constitution. He had a duty to vote no and then design over his secret, if that's the truth.

Thanks for your reply. I’m aware of Wuerl’s stance. I specifically want to know if he has AUTHORITY based on the fact that they are representing an entity in his diocese. Cardinal Burke has spoken about this and I have read his statement about the home diocesan bishops having the “duty” to handle proabort politicians. What I specifically want to know is whether any of the cardinals in Rome have AUTHORITY to instruct the openly proabort politicians in the delegation (i.e. outside their home dioceses) not to present for communion at this Mass (not whether they have the willingness to use such authority). Peace be with you.

Let’s be real, he would be an idiot not to know who the President and vice-President of the United States is, he probably even knows little things like who Putin is, and David Cameron.

It is pretty hard to be an educated, well read man with a global perspective who does not even know who leads the most powerful nation on earth, and is fighting Muslims all over the world.

When the politics involve warring against the Catholic church, yes they are. Politicians who vote for abortion are excommunicated. The excommunicated are not to receive the eucharist. If anyone recives the eucharist when they are not worthy, the bible tells us they drink death upon themselves. Therefore, as a mercy to the excommunicated, priests are not supposed to offer them the eucharist.
