Dear Friends,
At this juncture, I must ask for your prayers on my behalf. Last Friday afternoon, while driving home from work I blacked out on I-95 and rear-ended the vehicle in front of me.
I was taken by ambulance to Laurel Regional Hospital and was admitted. During my three-day stay I had a head CT, a cervical MRI, an EEG, and a chest CT.
They finally released me at about three oclock this afternoon.
In light of the circumstances of this accident, I am coming to the conclusion that I should not drive anymore. No one was injured in this accident I couldnt live with myself if I caused serious injury or death to another person.

Very true. But as a former corpsman (or is it corpseman?) you know that referrals to one or more consultants may be in your future.Regardless of what happens...best of luck and stay safe!
Prayers up, ConorMacNessa.
The same thing happened to me... I too was considering hanging up my car keys, but I finally decided to give up drinking at work instead... Nary a problem since. :P
Now really: Prayers for you, and hopes that your problem is definitively found and resolved with miraculous speed.
Prayers are up for you. Good luck.
Prayers.
Prayers said.
Prayers up!
Strange—this just happened to a lady I know. She had all the tests in the world and they haven’t found a reason. She too is in Maryland.
It’s like an epidemic. I keep hearing about these incidents.
Of course you will have my prayers, but I hope you will not just take the depressing decision not to drive without knowing a reason.
Prayers for a speedy recovery to whatever ails you. Merry Christmas buddy.
Prayers for you. I respect you for your decision.
Oh, Conor,I am so sorry this happened to you. My prayers are with you. Now remember, I’m right here in Montgomery Co.. so if you need someone to drive you somewhere, send me a PM. I am hoping the blackout is not serious and can easily be explained. Thank goodness that you or the other person was not hurt. I respect any decision you make regarding driving. You have always been and will always be one of the great freepers! Hugs and Merry Christmas, Mom

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a healthy happy New Year!
Dearest ConorMac,
I am going to a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service tonight, and i will pray for YOU!
Also I will have all the prayer warriors in the Garden tomorrow morning lifting you up in Prayer.
Thank God nobody was hurt.
Ah, Conor! You will indeed be in my prayers for your health and safety!
I am thankful that no one was injured!
Prayers up for you, FRiend.
Oh crud, friend. All of us who take the wheel with a conscience have been where you are now. Just weeks ago, I almost did the same thing on a local freeway (not a blackout, thank God, I just changed lanes without noticing that the traffic had come to a stop). I, too, would not know what to do with myself knowing I was responsible for someone’s death or injury. You try to be as responsible as you can, but no one can ever be self-confident enough to beat pure happenstance.
I hope and pray you regain the health and self-confidence to regain control of your life.
