Hebrew graffiti, including the phrase "Jesus is a monkey," was daubed on the walls of a monastery near Jerusalem early Tuesday in what police suspect was a so-called 'Price Tag' attack by right-wing, pro-settler extremists, according to reports.
Vandals torched the wooden door of the Latrun Monastery and spray-painted the graffiti on the holy site's stone walls, Israeli police said.

The sheep are being seperated from the goats. I truly believe s*t*n has been unchained. This is one of his followers. Palestinian no doubt.
Lord please come soon.
You would be surprised at how many people do not seem to realize that the muslims in Israel speak and write Hebrew. That makes it very easy to blame Jews for what muslims OFTEN do.
Jesus was a Jew.
Moslems are always calling Jews “monkeys”.
This is the work of yet another of Mohammed’s demonic spawn.
Not necessarily Palestinians. But if it was Israelis, these were random acts
I know they speak and write it, and they use it against Jews, just like they are using our rights against us here. The muslims will soon find out that the Lord has had enough.
I thought Jesus was considered a prophet in the Islam religion.
I call false flag. Jews don’t call people monkeys, and the Israelis in Judea and Samaria have nothing against the monks in Latrun as far as I know.
On the other hand, Islam repeatedly calls Jews pigs and monkeys, so it makes sense that an agent provacateur would have painted this graffiti to inflame relations between Jews and Christians.
Shin Bet has been trying to make out that the Settlers are the enemy for quite some time. I irks me no end.
I fear not, Jews in Israel and IMO this is a false flag. In the USA well...... only 22% did not vote for Obama.
I don’t think this would have been a Shin Bet operation; they are Jews, albeit largely secular ones, and would not think to describe Jesus as a monkey, since that is Muslim and not Jewish imagery.
No, no, no. That is not what I meant. I meant that they have been BLAMING things like this on Settlers, among other things, because they consider them outside the leftist mindset. The Settlers are the ones who have been evicted from their homes to make way for arabs in Gaza and the West Bank, and now the same is happening in Judea and Samaria. The more they can demonize the ‘Settlers’ as ‘right wing extremists’ the less protest from the Israeli population at large when they demolish entire LEGAL neighborhoods.
Um, so what would cause "right-wing, pro-settler extremists" to think this type of behavior is a valuable strike for their cause? This just doesn't make sense to me.
Muslims refer to Jews as apes, donkeys, dogs
Sounds like someone is going to Hell.
I don't know who did it, but I will answer your question: most chrstians, especially the "indigenous" chrstians of the Middle East, are very anti-Israel and pro-PLO. Most of the chrstians of the world are not like Hal Lindsay. Unfortunately, American-style Fundamentalist Protestants don't seem to understand this. The ancient mutual antipathy between Jews and chrstians continues unabated in the Middle East.
American-style Fundamentalist Protestant chrstianity is an anomaly in chrstianity. It has no roots in the ancient chrstian past. If you want to take a look at real chrstianity visit the web sites and watch some of the liturgies of the ancient churches: the Syrians, Maronites, Melkites, Copts, Assyrians, Chaldaeans, Ethiopians, Armenians, and Malankara of India. All these ancient churches trace their history to the apostles and there isn't a pro-Israel American-style Fundamentalist Protestant in the bunch. Not one. And they predate Constantine, so you can't blame their attitudes on him.
Every single ancient church has a web presence. I'm watching a Syrian Orthodox liturgy right this minute on YouTube (though I know I shouldn't really be doing it). You can find them too.
Do you recall the statement put out by the Middle Eastern churches a few years ago stating that "Zionist chrstianity isn't chrstianity at all?"
Yes. However, I don't think ANY kind of Christian would say Jesus is a Monkey. It's possible a Jewish person did it, but it sounds much more like something a radical Muslim would say.
“It’s possible a Jewish person did it, but it sounds much more like something a radical Muslim would say.”
Who knows.
I suspect a kid, probably about 12-16, of any given race or religion, who is pissed at his parents, wears black nail polish, is a loner, and can’t get a date.
“American-style Fundamentalist Protestant chrstianity is an anomaly in chrstianity.”
Well, Martin Luther was philo-semetic.
Until he wasn’t, that is.
I didn't say that. I said that outside of the idyllic world of Hal Lindsay and John Haggi Jews and chrstians don't like each other. Fill the rest in.
