MANILA, Philippines - Christian young people in the Philippines protested Saturday against upcoming concerts by Lady Gaga despite organizers' assurances that her performances would not threaten morality.
About 200 Christian youths marched in Manila for a second straight day, holding placards urging the pop singer to "respect our faith, stop the blasphemy."
The Biblemode Youth Philippines members plan to hold a vigil starting Sunday near the concert venue. They said they are offended by Lady Gaga's music, particularly her song "Judas," which they said mocks Jesus Christ....

Lady Gaga had a music video for the song “Alejandro” where she dressed as a nun, pretended to swallow a rosary, danced nearly nude, had half naked men dancing around her, and simulated graphic sex with these men and the men simulated it with each other. It was vile mockery of the Catholic faith.
The Phillipines has a large population of devout Catholics, and it takes guts for these young people to stand up for their faith. I couldn’t see that happening here.

Agreed. She needs to take Lady off her name. There’s nothing ladylike about her.
what is strange to me is why she is still popular. She apes Madonna, but Madonna, for all her risque acts still could sing. If you hear LG on the radio, it is not good singing.
