Fr. John Hollowells truly amazing monologue needs to be spread far and wide. Its a wake up call, and one of the most encouraging statements Ive heard in a long time. Its a Divine battle cry!
The talk heats up after minute 2 where he notes in this talk addressed to Planned Parenthood Pres. Cecile Richards that we have not doubt that in the future Planned Parenthood will be seen as the slave traders, the Nazis, the Communists and all those groups that seek to oppress people.
He then warns PP and President Obama: You better knock us out now. You and the President better knock us out right now, because Cecile, I can promise you - Here comes the Catholic Church ... youve awakened a sleeping giant.
Priests and bishops that have in the past been content to remain quiet are no longer so. ... The Truth is being rained down everywhere. ... Here comes the Catholic Church.
He notes that PP since its founding have proclaimed yourselves sworn enemies of the Catholic Church, but were in the ring now, the gloves are off. He acknowledges that Cecile has every worldly advantage in her corner - the President of the United States, the media. But Goliath too had every worldly advantage.
The powerful talk ends quoting Tolkein: The board is set, the pieces are now in motion, at last we come to it - the great battle of our age.
AWESOME!!!

Mandatory microchip implantation is only an election away.
Georgetown is only 60 percent Catholic. School of Foreign Service, where Slick went, probably even less so. Law also.
So are you suggesting this priest or others should not do their part because all is lost? No hope in changing people, so dont even express your true beliefs?
Francis of Assisi? The patron saint of animals?
What happened to him?
For true martyrs, look at St Justin, or perhaps Polycarp, the old man... http://www.polycarp.net/
Or better yet, Jesus Christ himself.

It is not only the Catholic church that is weak-kneed.
All of Christianity shrinks from their responsibility given by Jesus in Matthew 18:15-17.
It must be proclaimed from the pulpit of the congregant’s home church that he is not welcome among them until he repents, and that he be shunned until then.
Any and all Democrat politicians and public figures claiming to be Christian or Catholic that promote anti-Biblical, anti-Church, anti-Christ policies must be publicly renounced and refused permission into the congregation if they will not repent.
And it must be made clear that anybody that votes for such a person is participating with him in his rebellion against Christ.
Any Bible believing, Christ honoring church must do so or they themselves are in rebellion, honoring man more than God.
Havent Catholics been voting eastern liberals in to office for centuries?
-——Havent Catholics been voting eastern liberals in to office for centuries?-——
At least for the last 50 years. Among baptized Catholics, there exists a continuum of orthodoxy and orthopraxy, just as in other Christian churches. The saints shine (Mother Teresa), and the lax (Ted Kennedy), not so much. Regular church-goers tend to vote more conservatively.
My favorite statistic: The divorce rate among Catholic couples who practice natural family planning is 1%, my wife and I included. Actually, we skipped NFP too.
What Catholics do have is a non-contradictory body of doctrine, and Sacraments that are effective on their own. And apostolic succession, and...
just as Rush says, “liberals are liberals first!”
“0bama, the muzzie devil, is waging war against ALL Christians, not just Catholics.”........
Yup! You are absolutely right. However, from a strategic perspective, to defeat the enemy (Christians), it becomes necessary to knock out the “Mother ship”, so to say. They are ocunting on all the other denominations of Christianity to fold if the RC Church can be defeated.
It will not happen. Jesus promised us that He will be at our side forever. We all need to pray, pray, pray and stick together during this tough time in our lives and in the life of our beloved country.
Pope’s have condemned said behavior for nearly two millenia. They’ve been ignored just as Christ was and still is ignored.
If you honestly think people like that are spending any time inside of a confessional I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
I support what Fr. Hollowell is saying 100%. So, no, I am not saying he shouldn’t do anything and I didn’t say all is lost.
But I think it is silly for people to comment that the “whole country” is going to “wake up” over this matter. The “whole country” isn’t going to do anything.
“It is not only the Catholic church that is weak-kneed.
All of Christianity shrinks from their responsibilit” —> well said
elkie, unfortunately I am out-of-town quite often and end up at Mass in Hartford-WestHartford. West Hartford Catholics have to be the silliest people on the planet.
Like I say, I am going to have to find some of the more obscure small parishes where a different type might be spending there time. There’s always the Cathedral in HTFD. It’ll be interesting who I can find.
