Yes, often pearls are cast before swine.
What a waste of everyone’s time and resources.

In 12 years you never read Genesis, the Gospel of Luke or The Apocalypse of St. John, not to mention the Church Fathers? That’s hard to believe.

Knowing the quality of religious instruction in so many Catholic schools, I can easily believe you don’t know a thing about the subject. I am reminded of a remark by Bertrand Russell about his own schooling, to wit: “We were taught our religion by agnostics.” My guess is that your teachers were agnostic in a different sense. More like quiests. (Look it up.)

Christ?

It’s IN the Bible. Oh, wait, the woman in the apocalypse giving birth to Christ couldn’t be the mother of Christ. You’re right; neo-Protestantism makes much more sense.

(Traditional Protestantism affirmed the role of Mary.)

Well, it was foretold in prophecy:

"All generations will call me blessed."

How many times do Catholics on FR need to tell you that we do not worship the Blessed Mother.

We ask her to pray for us.

That’s it.

Well, Mary WAS chosen by God, and Jesus revered her, so should we do any less? No need to worship her, but we should love, revere, and want to emulate her, because she will always lead us to Jesus.
