FRiends,
The edema and infections are getting worse and I'm scared that I will lose one or both of my feet or even my legs. My feet are about two-and-a-half times their normal size. It will be very hard to take care of my wife (stroke last year) and myself if I lose my mobility. I appreciate any and all prayers, thoughts, best wishes or whatever. This is like a second home for me and I have many good friends here that I've never met in person. Thank you!

Here’s a little bit I’ve learned over the years (and maybe too much information):
Wiggle your feet, change position often - most of the time, keep them elevated and move them down for a little bit, too. Your calves are better at moving that fluid around than your heart, so work those as much as you can. And if you’re overweight, make sure you move around so that your belly doesn’t make a mechanical obstruction.
I hope you’ve got support stockings, as bad as they are. I think half their benefit is repositioning them to get them back where they belong - set some sort of alarm to remind you to yank them around.
