Glucose levels in the brain don’t necessarily mean squat. During starvation the brain burns ketone bodies with out any
problems.

I used to think of NDE as the Body is hardware that the Soul or software run on. But if we think of the brain and nervous system as just controls and wiring for the soul to operate the body, it opens up all kinds of possibilities.

Guess I missed the “no” part of your statement....sorry. As for the “multiples” sharing the same scenario simultaneously...not that I know of, and not sure what that would or wouldn’t prove.

My father died of a brain tumor last December. It was horrible to say the least and so sudden. I’m still reeling from it in many ways. The tumor took him away from us before his actual death.

Before he became ill, he told me he was not afraid of death, just looked at it as the next big adventure.

Reading stories about NDE’s gives me a measure of comfort. My father was a believer in Christ and I imagine sometimes all of the beauty and wonder he is experiencing now.

You need to read this book. Narratives of the NDEs and also the medical accounts of Dr. Jeffrey Long.

Evidence of the Afterlife:
The Science of Near-Death Experience

Evidence of The Afterlife

It's finally here!  And thanks to the NDErs who made this possible, the book you've all been waiting for!

Dr. Jeffrey Long, Jody Long, and Paul Perry have teamed up to write this blockbuster book that became an instant bestseller after Dr. Long's appearance on NBC's Today Show.

"Evidence of the Afterlife" is by far the largest scientific study of NDE ever presented, and is based on researching over 1300 NDEs shared with NDERF. This book is scientific in content, yet easy and a delight to read.  The people whose stories are presented span all age groups, races, and religious affiliations and come from all over the world, yet the similarities in their experiences are as awe-inspiring as they are inexplicable.  Using this treasure trove of data, Dr. Long explains how medical evidence fails to explain these reports and why there is only one plausible explanation—that people have survived death and traveled to another dimension.

"Evidence of the Afterlife" is so compelling that it will either validate your existing knowledge or it will heartily challenge your current belief system with nine lines of irrefutable evidence of the afterlife.  There are no explanations, medical or otherwise, that one can reasonably conclude after reading this book except that there is an afterlife!

A friend of mine gave me that book to read. I didn’t need any convincing as I already believed in life after death but the book was very compelling, it would be hard for anyone to remain a sceptic after reading it.

“Some people think that the body has a soul. Others think that the soul has a body.”

“C.S. Lewis said something similar. He said we have a body, we are a soul.”

C S Lewis was correct. Take a look at my website: http://www.thescienceofthesoul.com/

It’s what happened to me after my near death experience.

“If this man is not a believer in Christ then his experience was not heaven.”

He is deeply religious. Yes he is Christian. At the same time He was a neurosurgeon at Harvard University Hospital for 17 years.

” he felt the wonder and peace you describe and that this writer felt.”

If he felt that peace, then he is ok. It is a beam of light that brings it on. I’ve been there many times and crossed over myself. Your prayers are what really helped him. They work.

“They are much more at peace with themselves and They are NEVER afraid of dying again.”

Very often, the peace wears off and we then go into depression as losing that wonderful feeling when you come back into the body is like having your heart ripped out. The empty feeling is almost unbearable after experiencing all that Love.

The physical body is a manifestation of the soul. That’s why it stops growing and functioning when the soul detaches.

What a narrow minded individual you show yourself to be to put all “Jesus-praisers” in the box that exists in your mind.

I'm in my seventies.. I'll know soon enough.

But thanks. I sometimes hear these things on CoastToCoastAM -- when they are not (still!) attacking George Bush and family for every wrong since the beginning of time.

Noory says lay off PRESIDENT! Obama because C2C is nonpartisan. I am not making this up; but ever so slowly Noory is letting people criticize "the government" (meaning Obama).

I experienced something similar with my brother who was also my best friend. Lung cancer that changed him before he was actually taken away. Don’t expect to feel ‘normal’ again for awhile. It is going on two years and my sister and I both mentioned the other day that only now do we feel like we can even begin to enjoy life again. And I firmly believe in Christ. But such losses are huge and create such giant wounds that they take a long time to heal. The scar remains forever, tho. God bless!
