I don’t doubt this in the least. When my grandson was a pre-schooler, he fell out of his treehouse which was about 10-15 ft from the ground. My daughter was watching and she just knew he was severely injured. When she got out there, he was fine. He looked at her and said that his guardian angel caught him. A few months after that, he told her that he had seen the angel again and was told that was the last time he would see her but she would always be around him. My mom was the same way. We all think this ability comes from my great grandmother who was a Cherokee Indian. Who knows???

You do know, I hope, that you can ask the admin moderator or the religion moderator to fix your double title? Right?

I suggest that every Christian read the book “Evidence of the Afterlife” by Dr. Jeffrey Long — great book with stories just like this of NDEs (Near Death Experiences).

Over the years I read a number of books on NDE’s and found the ones of children very believable. I am a Catholic Christian and can find no fault is believing these things can happen.

I know of unexplained experiences people have had in their lives that make you shake your head in wonder.

Had my own near death experience in an ambulance while having a heart attack. Had a shrink tell me it was because of a lack of oxygen to the brain. I wonder how he’d explain this 4 year old child’s experience. Some people are just too smart for their own good.

Also, concerning this story, it convinces me that all the babies murdered every year are in Heaven.

Closer to the Light at Amazon

I read the above book about the near death experiences in children many years ago. I remember it being very interesting. I should give it a reread.

I like the show "I Survived" on the Biography Channel and now they've added "I Survived: Beyond and Back" which is really interesting. On on of them I saw a few weeks back, one guy had a "dark" near death experience.

Thanks for the post

Wow—gotta read that book! One book that so gripped me is “90 Minutes in Heaven”...by Don Piper. He survived a horrible auto accident but was declared dead on the scene.
He recalls his experience in Heaven.

I once heard a nurse who worked in Pediatrics tell a story about a little boy who “coded” and was successfully resuscitated. He later told her “Jesus told me to come back.” The nurse who told the story was Jewish.

When people ask me why we stopped at one child - I tell them we didn’t, we have two. The first is in Heaven and we have not me him or her yet. But we will, and what a glorious reunion that will be, because to us it will be as we have known the child all our lives.

“he talked about Armageddon and how God told him his father would fight in the final battle.”

Would that mean that Armageddon will occur within his father’s lifetime, or that his father will be resurrected before Armageddon?

The Heaven John wrote about in the Bible is so full of wonders and mysteries that in our wildest dreams we could not imagine it. Certainly Heaven contains many surprises which we will never be able to comprehend in this life with our puny little mortal human brains.

I heard it said once that, - “as a Christian, the day I die will be the best day I’ve ever lived. But it won’t be the best I will ever live.”

I actually bought this book on Friday and am almost finished with it.

This little boy saw and spoke to members of his family in Heaven whom no one had ever told him existed, and saw Jesus, among other things.

It's a good book, and gives a tiny glimpse into what is awaiting us!

I guess I always have a suspicion about things like this.. seeing scripture does not address this..what it does say is “to be absent to the body is to be present to God”

On this particular one.. the bible does not say that the angels can or do sing.. but a child would have heard the songs that indicate they do ...

“Later he described Jesus, and he talked about Armageddon and how God told him his father would fight in the final battle.”

OK, so this will happen in our lifetime?
