Say what?
I don’t have time to read 30 pages of stuff about old pictures.

The miracle is that those people standing out there in the sun wearing all those heavy black clothes didn’t suffer heat stroke. Or maybe they did.

i am grateful this was posted! the photos are interesting simply for history. ...but here is an article, with historic black and white photos, taken during the Miracle of the “dancing” sun at Fatima, in 1917. (witnessed by over 50,000 people!!!)
the full story and photos at link. but the short part below, was written by a well-known ATHEIST reporter, who was there. And even after weeks of abuse by his fellow atheists, he refused to recant:
CHAPTER X
«THE DANCE OF THE SUN»
Here are the facts, briefly recounted by a journalist that nobody could suspect of impartiality in this affair, and with reason! The man in question is Avelino de Almeida, Editor in Chief of O Seculo, the great liberal, anticlerical and Masonic daily of Lisbon:
«From the road, where the cars were packed together, and several hundred people had remained, not having had the courage to advance towards the muddy field, one could see the immense multitude turn towards the sun, which appeared at its zenith, coming out of the clouds.
«It resembles a dull silver disc, and it is possible to fix ones eyes on it without the least damage to the eye. It does not burn the eyes. It does not blind them. One might say that an eclipse was taking place.
«An immense clamour bursts out, and those who are nearer to the crowd hear a shout: Miracle! Miracle! Prodigy!... Prodigy!...
«The attitude of the people takes us back to biblical times. Stupefied and with heads uncovered, they watch the blue sky. Before their dazzled eyes the sun trembled, the sun made unusual and brusque movements, defying all the laws of the cosmos, and according to the typical expression of the peasants, the sun danced
»1
Violently challenged by all the anticlerical press, Avelino de Almeida renewed his testimony fifteen days later in his review, Illustraçao Portuguesa. This time, he illustrated his account with a dozen photographs of the immense crowd, in a state of ecstasy, and all through his article he repeated like a refrain: «I saw it... I saw it... I saw it.»

perhaps.
but at least that caused less damage than the billions wasted over the man-made global warming hysteria...
or many other things that millions believe, in contradiction of actual facts.
...and I will keep my harmless faith. because sometimes, in a cruel and uncertain world, it is nice to believe in a loving God, who occasionally reminds us, He is still there.

I once looked at the Sun through a telescope with a special H Alpha filter, and it was not at all what I expected to see. The fires around the edge of the Sun (if that's what you would call them) seem to dance and vibrate quickly, almost as if with a 60 cycle hum. I was amazed, because we think of the Sun as something huge and ponderous and not full of such rapid motion.

You should probably try to find out more about something before cracking a joke ;)
Just saying, since all those people were standing in... pouring rain.. until the very hour that was given in the vision to the children and the rain stopped and the sun came out...
Though the title is a bit misleading, these are higher resolution images of the photos taken the day of the miracle by various journalists present at the time.

Mass hypnotism of the fools.
For one who bandies about the word 'fool' so easily, you would expect a bit more research...
If you would be so kind as to actually read the facts surrounding the event you might realize that many of the records that day were taken by journalists who worked for quite liberal anticlerical news papers. Hardly susceptible to 'hypnosis' by religious types now are they?
Paraphrasing one of those journalists he said he could only report what he saw, but its interpretation he left to science or church. So something certainly did happen, but what it means is left to you, even the Church follows this principle, you are not required to accept Fatima as a miracle, but may do so if you believe so.
So to try and explain it through mass hypnosis.. is well.. quite foolish...

I rather doubt God believes He needs to send proof of his existance in such a manner.....
