People often turn to their faith to ease their minds. Now first lady Michelle Obama is hoping people will turn to churches, temples and synagogues to lose weight as well. The first lady launched a new addition to her Let's Move! campaign. Things might be changing at local services.

Starting Monday, faith-based organizations of all kinds will begin a new crusade to end childhood obesity in a generation. It's called Let's Move: Faith and Communities, and the First AME Church of Los Angeles is leading the charge....

Seems Michelle is working to turn churches into secular organizations. If she wants kids to stay fit, she should first and foremost allow them to live. When I was brought up, I didn’t have to be concerned over mothers killing their children through abortion; it didn’t, for the most part, happen. Now it’s an everyday occurrence to the tune of thousands. This atrocity “weighs heavily” on the youth of today.

Houses of worship are to worship God, the focus is God (or gods). Turning these houses into gyms changes the focus to people focusing on themselves, their bodies. This is wrong. Only atheists would benefit.
