Forbidden Gates: How G.R.I.N Technology Will Change Spiritual Warfare - PART TWO
American Chronicle ^ | August 8, 2010 | Thomas R. Horn

Whenever such principalities recognize a religious or political body that has become a force for moral good, they set about through a sophisticated labyrinth of visible and invisible representatives to bring that organization down one righteous soul at a time.

It is within this concealed arena of evil supernaturalism that unregenerate men are organized. Under demonic influence, they are orchestrated within a great evil system (or empire) described in various scriptural passages as a satanic order.

In more than thirty important biblical texts, the Greek New Testament employs the term kosmos, describing this “government behind government.” It is here that human ego, separated from God, becomes hostile to the service of mankind while viewing people as commodities to be manipulated in the ministration of fiendish ambition.

Some expositors believe the origins of this phenomenon began in the distant past, when a fire in the minds of angels caused Lucifer to exalt himself above the good of God’s creation.

The once-glorified spirit, driven mad by an unequivocal thirst to rule, conquer, and dominate, spawned similar lust between his followers, which continues today among agents of dark power who guard a privileged “cause-and-effect” symmetry between visible and invisible personalities.

At Satan’s desire, archons command this supernatural, geopolitical sphere, dominating kosmokrators (rulers of darkness who work in and through human counterparts), who in turn command spirits of lesser rank until every level of earthly government, secular and religious, can be touched by this influence.

Yeah. This is that “praying down principalities” lie.

Uh.

Jesus tore down principalities for us on the Cross. It is not up to any individual Christian to address Principalities (God's angels or fallen angels/demons) or command them or anything. This is part of the lesson of Jesus in the Garden when He said He would not command angels to rescue Him or fight for Him.

By our righteous actions, i.e. overcoming sin and dealing with our own propensity for sin — that is how we personally deal with principalities.

We as individual Christians are NEVER to address Principalities or Powers directly.

The Disciples never did this. We “wrestle” with them as Jacob wrestled with the Angel (who was a principality by the way who was keeping Jacob from his promised land until Jacob admitted he was a sinner/cheater!) We can rebuke the thinking of the evil one, as Jesus did in the forty days in the desert; or as Jesus rebuked the thinking of Peter when Peter said Jesus must not go to the Cross -- but we are not to have prayers that address or command principalities directly. It is Christian witchcraft.

Please refrain from this witchcraft in the name of Christ thinking about Principalities.

Even Daniel NEVER addressed or “did warfare” against a Principality in the book of Daniel.

This is a theology made up out of the ashes of that stupid 90’s book by Frank Peretti THIS PRESENT DARKNESS.

It is complete apostasy and gets our minds off of the immediacy of our own personal Cross and the problem of loving others because we are so caught up in some fake idea that it is our problem to deal with Principalities.

Again, JESUS tore them down and “made captivity captive” at the Cross.

I'd appreciate it, as one of the NAR/IHOP/MSOG New Order of the Latter RainFalse Prophet slayers, Pastor Randles, if you would chime in on this problem.

Prayers to God - for anything - are always welcome to God. God can handle all of them. As long as a person is praying to God, there is no harm. God will handle all that needs to happen, whether through actions, teachings, or whatever. To "warn" people not to pray for pretection against, or the abolition of, any evil is - at the very least - pride. At worst, it is actively seeking to protect that evil from the results of the prayer.

Maybe you should follow your own advice, and worry about your own cross, rather than presuming the authority to get between people and God. As they say, fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Daring to mess with other people's prayers is, IMHO, above your pay grade.

What a fascinating article.

Of all our debate about government, the courts, the media, liberals, political correctness, crime, and every other subject - this article touches at what lies beneath.

Evil. Principalities. Demons. Satan.

While deliverance ministry such as exorcism should be carefully administered within the Church, demons play an even wider role in society that includes not only controlling or influencing individuals and small groups, but institutions and governments.

You might want to take that up with Paul, the New Testament, the Bible, and God.

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Ephesians 6: 10-18

Let me ask, do you actually read this Bible thingy?

Uh... wrestling with our own sin nature and the lies of our culture or the lies of the enemy IN OUR MINDS is not the same as praying down principalities.

You are stepping into a huge pile of apostasy that you don’t want to go down...

seen many so called “Christians’ literally lose their minds over this false idea that it is up to us to ‘pray down principalties” over a city.

There is no such thing. We are not God. Jesus said He did not command Angels to rescue Him from arrest at Gethsamane because “My Kingdom is not of this world”. We are by our love and witness to take the world for Christ, not by stupid prayers against principalities.

It is a divorce of moral behavior of Christians for some fake idea of intercession.

I know very well of what I am writing here. Let me ask you, SkyPilot... why do you think Paul cited the word “wrestling”?

It is because Jacob “wrestled” with an Angel for his inheritance.

Jacob was only allowed to go into his promised land AFTER HE REPENTED.

That is Paul’s point. Spiritual warfare has to do with us killing our own sinful flesh. Not praying some loud mouthed stupid prayer about Satan.

Actually, creating a whole theology of principalities and an idea of fake spiritual warfare about how to deal with them is Apostasy.

And it’s not above any Christian’s paygrade to deal with false teaching.

We are called to be Bereans, and to test all things.

Thanks for the admonitions though.

Your reply seeps with contempt for this testimony. The spiritual realm is real and I, for one, believe in the Name of Jesus Christ Dr. Cho defeated this spirtual force (demon) and gained spirtual ground here.

If you don’t believe it fine thats your choice.

Oh and P.S. Skypilot..

... you do know what a fiery dart is, right?

It’s a lie. Or lies that come at us.

So how do you deal with lies coming at you with your shield of faith? This is what Paul was asking us to consider.

Oh, then you are saying that some demon that Dr. Cho “defeated” was not defeated by Jesus at the Cross?

You lie.

The spiritual realm is real, but we do not “gain spiritual ground” without dealing with sin.

There is no other way. I am sick to death of this crazy metaphor based fake Christianity. And the Lord is NOT impressed either with these fake warfare games.

Oh please.

I see two things at work here.

1. You

2. Your ego

Do some research on C Peter Wagner's NAR New Order of the Latter Rain etc., teachings.

Wagner decreed that we evangelize through binding demons (never practiced) and dealing with demons rather than preaching the Word as Jesus taught.

This led to the current Apostasy of the charismatic church, leading up to Lou Engle’s nightmare of fake intercession for The Call. They believe that they can repent for other people's sins, like unsaved people's sins. They believe that demons reside in the soil, in trees, and in the land. They confuse a “stronghold” that Paul discusses with a random gathering of demons over a city. (A stronghold is a mindset of an individual that is not of Christ.) This teaching is NUTS.

Call it my ego if you like, I call it being a Berean. Pastor Bill Randles has written about this for years as well as many other charismatics like myself.
