Dear Salvation,

Could you please start an anonymous prayer thread for my daughter, Mary. She took an overdose of Tylenol from which she has survived, but she and the rest of our family need prayers. She is still on the psych ward - was supposed to be discharged this weekend but it didn’t happen. Her Fall Semester begins tomorrow - We think it’s very important for her to get back in the saddle - she is a Dean’s List student getting ready to start her last semester.

Dear FRiends, I am the one at whose request this prayer thread was started. I'm happy to be able to report to you that your prayers had the desired effect. Mary graduated cum laude from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia in May. She is doing very well, working as a lifeguard over the Summer while she finds permanent employment.



I can't thank you all enough for your prayers and support during that trying period. FR, among other things, is an extended family that I am very happy to be a part of. Again, thank you all very much for your prayers. We are forever in your debt. Thank you, Salvation for posting the thread for me. Could you ping the list one more time so that those who answered the call may receive this update?

prayers, but tylenol overdose, I had a sister who did that she got some form of hepatitis from an overdose of tylenol and they told us she would not make it through the night. One of my other sisters requested, they gave her an IV of Vitamin B. Feeds the liver and she survived. The patient in the other bed same room died that night of the same thing. Luck? who knows, I am happy for you that your daughter made it. She needs to protect that liver.
