Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. Foods have been dropping out of her diet until she reached the point she is at now and can only eat rice, chicken, lamb, and venison. Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.
The problem is that the repeated continual exposure to the few remaining foods, could lead to a sensitivity to those as well, which has just happened to two foods she had been safely eating since October.
There are options for nutrition should she start to react to all foods, but they are used only in the most dire situations. She's concerned about reaching that point--and frankly has been feeling more than a little discouraged by all such.
She has undergone extensive medical testing which has all been inconclusive. Almost everything comes back normal or negative, and the few things that she does test positive for aren’t what causes her the most problems.
She is attempting to get into a regional medical center for more specialized medical evaluation to see if they can determine the cause and possible treatment, if any exists.
She has been prayed for and anointed numerous times over the years, however, she would appreciated continued prayer for complete healing.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND HER PLIGHT with as much empathy as you can. She's been through a 1,001 suggestions and tried a LOT of different things. She's been through the Henry Wright seminar and prayers extensively. I don't think she is quite up to handling any more suggestions currently. Those who've been through such can understand such a feeling. She just greatly would appreciate your understanding and PARTICULARLY YOUR CARING PRAYERS.
This summary is per my understanding and might be stated somewhat differently were she writing it herself. I believe she'd affirm the truth of what I've said but these are essentially my words.

Thank you all for your prayers. The doctor wants to do a couple more easy blood tests to try to pin down exactly what is going on.
He also said that it doesn’t make sense that someone is allergic to that many items so he also thinks that there’s something besides the typical allergic IgE mediated response.
Thanks TONS for the prayers for the weather. Our area got pounded by lake effect snow. Just to the west of us on the Thruway saw a really bad multi-car accident that shut it down for over five hours.
Our last half hour home needed those prayers to keep us on the road, when we find it, but the rest of the driving and road conditions were fine. We even saw the SUN!!!
May our Lord give your doctor the wisdom necessary to resolve your ailments.

Do you have the tests taken close to home and they forward to your doctor?
If so, wouldn’t it be great if you can have a teleconference between the 3 of you instead of ‘that’ trip.

Good news as my prayer is being answered for you...important you have Dr’s. who are willing to see beyond the standard...especially concerning you situation. Am happy to hear this Dr. is willing to go further. That is good news...
I did watch the videos you had posted earlier on. What a tricky and complicated dis-order! Hopefully some answers will be on the way soon...will be praying fo this Dr. to have eyes to see and the Lord to impress him where to look for the “something else” going on.
Glad you made it thu the storm....Here in Western Pa. the snow band covered my area...my deck has over a foot of snow!
