I believe so since she was chosen to be the mother of the second person of the Trinity, Jesus, God made Man. Others may not believe, but I choose to play it safe.

I have been to a Catholic Mass and most of the churches you can think of. All faiths. The pagan rituals they celebrate are an abomination. Easter would be one example.

Ok, this part of your statement I can understand. She truly stood out from all others. Obviously!

This part, I do not understand. Play what safe? Nowhere in the New Testament does Mary have anything to do with salvation that I know of. There is no mention of her by the Apostles that I can recall. I may be wrong.

Shouldnt you also be paying homage to Marys mother ... who bore her ... without that act Jesus would not have been born. According to your logic this is equally important.

On Padre Pio's death bed, his final words that he kept repeating were: "Jesus-Mary; Jesus-Mary; Jesus-Mary."

Why would someone dismiss so quickly the words of a stigmatic (Padre Pio bore the wounds of Christ for 50 years; his body lies incorrupt).
