Claire is Three and in Critical Condition

Claire is the three year old granddaughter of my nephew, Tim and his wife, Susie. Claire lives in Texas with her mom and dad Tiffany and Tyler.

Yesterday she was found floating in a pool ... I do not know details beyond that bare and stark fact.

She is now at Children's Hospital, but the family in CA is unsure if this is in Houston or Dallas. She is on the ventilater 50% of the time and off it breathing on her own the other 50%.

She is on a cooling pad to keep brain swelling down if possible.

Please join my family in prayer for Claire and her sisters, Autumn and Heidi and our whole clan.

The latest word is not very informative beyond the directed prayers to kill the toxins which are so damaging to Claire.

We do know that the doctors have been fairly non-committal about her chances for full recovery, but we also know that the crucial time is still with us as the first 48 hours have been the "medically assigned" waiting period.

I, just as so many of you, await some news we can concentrate on ... right now it is purification of her tiny blood stream from the damage that can be done to her through the toxins. That is repetitious, but is what is vital and He with the Blood of His Sacrifice and our Redemption can do that for us if we but ask.

Please breathe into Claire the breath of life once again. Thank You for rescuing her and for giving her the help she needs. Make her healing complete, Father, for we know that You are our God Who heals. Grant strength and peace to Claire and her family as they wait for all symptoms of distress to be removed. We have had our specific prayers concerning toxins in her blood answered. I just received this e-mail from my sister in law ... the great grandmother:

Emily called about an hour ago and said Claire' blood tests came back clear, but there is still a problem with her temperature.
This will be a very long process.
She's in a drug induced coma, and when it is time to bring her out, it is done very slowly, so it will be weeks.

No process can be too long when we are talking about the long steps toward a point of light for this baby.
