Job 40:15-24 Behemoth
15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. 20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. 24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. http://www.answersincreation.org/job4041a.htm There is one certainty about Job 40-41 they are not dinosaurs that lived 6,000 years ago. With the possibilities presented, I leave it up to the reader to decide for themselves what the correct answer is. We probably wont know for certain until we get to heaven.
What do I believe? I lean toward the dinosaur theory. You may say, How can Bible writers, such as David in Psalm 74, write about a dinosaur if it lived 65 million years ago? This is simple. There were certainly dinosaur fossils available in Bible times.
They are in the rocks now, so they must have been in the rocks then. David, and others, probably saw these fossils, and wrote about them (see Paleontology Pioneers and Aboriginal Dinosaurs?
Do you agree with this theory?
If not bound by time, why were 6 days needed, where an instant would suffice?
The apocryphal texts Jubilees and Enoch while of uncertain authorship provide expansions of Genesis 6:4
"The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."
Jesus said he would return as in the *Days of Noah*
He says in Matt. 24:37-38: But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, (Gen.6-7).
Genesis 7
1And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
This could do with the DNA of Man and Beast.
We are now cross breeding animals as well as people.
wow. how big will they get?
I hope even bigger. Did you look up online about the find? They apparently found a major bone which was nearly 40% bigger than the equivalent bone on the Argentina one.

I could have done without the Hillary pic:)
I do not desire to attempt to comprehend the incomprehensible.
:)
Well, that would be contradictory to the post of yours I had replied to. There certainly is a desire and an attempt, there.
:-)
I see. So when the Bible says that the tail moves like a cedar what it really means is that the tail is like a cedar.
And just how is that NOT twisting the Word of God? Can you show me where in the verses it says the tail is like a cedar tree? Plainly written?
As far as inconvenient facts, it appears you read the Word but refuse to see. Moves like a cedar. Not is like a cedar. Pretty clear.
Maybe English isn’t your first language?
No, no, no... You’re not doing it right. If something is cold like a block of ice it is clearly liquid nitrogen, since that is also cold like a block of ice so it’s obvious! ;)
OK, no continuity. If you don’t want to read what I wrote - rather than what you want to believe I wrote - then we’re done.
As far as the sword of the Spirit, was that back in Job’s time? Did the Holy Spirit live and dwell with man? Was it the same sword of God? References to back that up?
Talk about getting your timelines all akimbo!
LOL!
{sigh}
I have my ideas and thoughts....but what was truly in the the mind of the Creator or what may have actually transpired.......I’ll not know until the final rejoining, eh?
For now, truly knowing is impossible. Imagining is the best I can do.
For me too, it’s a work in progress. So far, not so good.
You betcha!
LLS
40%!!
Whoa. Isn’t that bigger than most modern scientists thought possible??
Again, thanks....
In discussing kashrus in Leviticus 11:19 God mentions the Hebrew word Tinshemet in referring to a bird. A little later in v30 He uses to same word in referring to a reptile. This takes on special significance in the modern paleontological sense of referencing the relationship of the hip structure of birds to similar structures in the hips of Ornisthician dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurs and Hadrosauridae of the Mesozoic era.
Why would God have used this term for both? It would form yet another of my ongoing arguments (Israel=struggle) with Him had He something else entirely in mind.
“Nothing was 65 million years ago.”
Gosh. I’ve not seen someone be so adamant about being so very wrong in a long time.
“If not bound by time, why were 6 days needed, where an instant would suffice?”
What is 6 days worth of time to a God who exists outside of time and space?
