Again, thanks....

In discussing kashrus in Leviticus 11:19 God mentions the Hebrew word “Tinshemet” in referring to a bird. A little later in v30 He uses to same word in referring to a reptile. This takes on special significance in the modern paleontological sense of referencing the relationship of the hip structure of birds to similar structures in the hips of Ornisthician dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurs and Hadrosauridae of the Mesozoic era.

Why would God have used this term for both? It would form yet another of my ongoing arguments (Israel=struggle) with Him had He something else entirely in mind.

My question would be...Were they on earth before the Creation of Man? and what purpose did they serve?

I can’t ever imagine modern man living with Dinosaurs...

I was thinking (maybe out of the park,) is because of their large sizes they might of been able to firment the ground by walking on the earth?
