Please be in prayer for our sister in Christ, Betty Brooks. Betty went in to a small hospital in Ms. yesterday for a fairly routine procedure on her heart, done through the veins under her armpit.. Things did not go as planned and it turned into open heart surgery. Long story short, she is on a heart pump machine and they cannot get her stable for transport to a another hospital that has the equipment that she needs. Only an intervention from the Lord is going to help at this point. Betty is a Bible believing Christian. Her and her husband are the hosts of our Thursday night Bible study in their home, and are truly God loving, wonderful people.

so sorry you’ve lost a friend. they sound like such nice people. may God grant peace and strength to you and to the family...especially her dear husband. I would be lost without my husband of almost 20 years.
Heartbreaking.
Prayers for her dear husband, and for all who loved her. God bless, strengthen and comfort all.
Prayers continue
May Our Almighty Father grant them His peace in their hearts, His strength and solace, and take care of all their needs. I ask this in the Holy Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Hugging you back.
Just realized I forgot to thank you for the ping, Kitty Mittens. It’s comforting to know that Betty’s husband will be covered with Freeper prayers.
I pray for you and the family to find strength and peace now.
Prayers for those left behind, who still have things to do. Prayers that Ms. Betty receive all in Heaven that she earned here on earth.
God give you courage to face yet another day, and every day that you are still here.
in our prayers.
One of the rare complications of opening the blood vessels.

You are so very welcome. I know the power of the love, support and care of FReepers you speak. And, I know that FReepers prayers are powerful ones, too! I will continue to pray that God will be with Betty’s husband, you, and the rest of her family and friends — providing strength, and comfort during this time of mourning.
I did not know Betty, but it sounds like she was greatly loved, and lived life well... What a wonderful blessing to have had her in your lives! :) {{{HUGS}}} I am sure she is looking down on all of you from heaven sending her love, and not wanting you to hurt so badly... Hang in there...
