PC Army did the same thing several years ago @ Fort Hood. Wiccans in the Army have there own Chaplin Priest. The USAF is just keeping up with it’s brother.

I see no problem with this. If there is a Christian chapel, then it is the right of the Wicccans to practice their religion, regardless of whether or not I agree with it. This is America...

I don’t have a problem with it as long as they don’t blow themselves up or go on shooting rampages. My only concern is that they may be a bit... effeminate?

Dang it all, there you go, getting all sensible again...

The pagans I know (granted not that many, maybe a dozen) tend to be pretty much pacifists. Not effeminate, but not much into warfare.

SirKit laughed about the idea of them having to ‘worship’ outside, in the Colorado Rockies, in the winter. ;o)

The pagans I have come across are mostly women, but not effeminate.

Mods, might I ask why my post on this thread was deleted? That’s the first time I’ve *ever* had a post deleted, and I’d like to know what rule I broke. As far as I know, this was not a caucus thread, and my post did not include profanity (that I recall), personal attacks, racism, or violence.

If you’d prefer to reply via FreepMail, that’d be fine.

Thanks.

No reply from the mods, so here’s my post as best I can recall it, and as pure as the driven snow (of course, I honestly don’t remember anything objectionable from my first post, but it got zotted anyway):

As a Christian and former infantry officer, I’d rather have a squad of motivated, disciplined soldiers who worshipped Vanilla Coke than a battalion of unmotivated, undisciplined soldiers who happened to be Christians.
