The Temple Institute in Jerusalem announced Friday the completion of a model of the biblical altar which G-d, through Moses, commanded the nation of Israel to build at the Mount of Eval (Ebal) overlooking Shechem:
And there you shall build an altar unto Hashem your God, an altar of stones: you shall lift up no iron tool upon them. You shall build the altar of Hashem your G-d of unhewn stones. (Dvarim / Deuteronomy 27:5,6)...

Models are as close as they’re ever gonna’ get to rebuilding the Temple.
That’s not what the Bible says.
Well don't just say its not what the Bible says. Prove it wrong ...What DOES the Bible say?
The Institute's management said that the visitors are very moved by the model and the eyes do not remain dry. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And may their hopes and aspirations be quickly realized.
if the Bible mentioned drywall... then I’d be impressed
You misspelled "G-d." :-)
“What DOES the Bible say?”
The antichrist will set himself up in the Temple.
Daniel 9:27 — “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him”
Matthew 24:15 — So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand
Mark 13:14 — When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong - let the reader understand
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 — Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God
Part of the area will be given to the gentiles.
Revelation 11: 1 — And a reed was given to me, like a rod; and the Messenger stood, saying, Arise and measure the temple of Elohim, and the altar, and them that worship inside it. 2. But the court which is without the temple, leave out, and measure it not, because it is given to the Gentiles; and they will tread down the Set Apart city forty and two months.
Ping-a-ling
I heard that the Jews only need a small plot behind the Muslim dome...just to build the holy of holys....
If the Bible says it will be built...it will be built..
Thats what the Bible says....
Come Messiah.
Excellent response
I used to work for a Christian ministry that brought the gospel back to unbelieving Jews. We ran tours to Israel, and the guy who ran the tours and I were good friends. Anyway, he had run like 50 tours to Jerusalem, and got to know several, shall I say, “insiders” there.
There are plans indeed to build a Temple on the Temple Mount. Many people have one or more stones to build the Temple squirreled away, and they are marked as to where they go. When the call comes, the new Temple will be built very, VERY quickly.
Thank you very much for that post Eccl 10:2!
OMG so Exciting!
that’s better. thank you :)
Not gonna happen. The Third (and final) Temple has already been erected, God already lives there, and I don't think He will trivialize the Sacrifice it took to make it happen by permitting this fraudulent imposter to prosper.
I pray for the peace of God's Jerusalem from time to time, the Heavenly City where Jew and Gentile already bow in adoration around the Throne. I pray for the conversion (and eternal salvation) of the unbelieving Jews. In fact, the founding pastor of my church is Jewish, like the Carpenter we both are honored to follow.
Thank you for this ping .....prophecy is one of my passions. How odd that you would include me (fate? lol) but thank you.
I’m making my way through Dr. David Jeremiah’s ‘The Handwriting on the Wall’. He is (imo) one of the leading prophecy scholars.
Take care (PS...on your home page is that really where you live?)
The last Temple to be rebuilt was Christ.
