A manifold witness I have placed in you ,
All that is faithful and true ,
A oneness of The Father and I in one breath ,
Can you imagine this depth ,
For what once rested upon me ,
Was the one and the three in complete harmony ,
And so it is even now My fullness with you ,
For as you witness me all 3 come through ~ ~ ~
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:6-12 (King James Version)
6But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
1 Corinthians 4:18-21 (New King James Version) 18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
“Give it back; youre getting it all dirty.”
Now that made me laugh!!
This thread delivers!
Ever read 'Secrets of a Soul -- Padre Pio's Letters to his Spiritual Directors'? Those are some pretty heartfelt words there from a man who believed himself to bear the wounds of Christ. Some would say far fetched. People in glass houses, etc...
Nice remark about Padre Pio, a Catholic priest.
Otherwise, just another nanny comment from the “You naughty fake Christians—how dare you criticize a self-appointed prophetic blog flogger!”
Unless, of course, Jedediah has the sigmata and has been examined at length by physicians to determine their authenticity.
sigmata/STIGMATA
*sheesh*
Beware, you do not want a war here.
If you wish to behave like atheists, you will be treated as such. The behavior demonstrated here by the Catholic caucus is deplorable.
I see the inquisition has never ended. You may wish to give it UP!
George Strait recorded that.
Amen, Dave. I agree.
Thank you, Dave. I appreciate that.
You better not! I don't swing that way.
It’s very telling that your ilk hides behind caucus threads yet comes here making fun of the WORD OF GOD with a silly ‘lolcatz’ translation. Your conduct speaks volumes and your opinions mean nothing.
FAR TOO MUCH TRUTH IN THAT POST!
INDEED.
It often seems like the same spirit(s) driving the old one as this one.
—same attitudes
—same spirit(s)
—same mentalities
—same arrogance
—same IN-GROUP/OUT-GROUP dynamics
—same hideousness of thought and words
—similar dogpiling on victims
—similar attitudes, spirits of vengeance
—similar haughty smugness
—similar constructions on ‘reality.’
. . .
RANT AGAINST SCRIPTURE, if you must.
Folks either become broken ON The Word of God
or
crushed under it.
I’m not a Catholic, as others on this thread can affirm!
This isn’t a Catholic issue, but a simple Christian one - we have been warned of false prophets. I’ve seen the terrible harm they can do, both to churches and individuals. If false prophets were not dangerous, Jesus would not have said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.”
Notice they deceive - they come claiming to be sheep, and dressed as such. But they are “ravenous wolves” - and ravenous wolves can do a LOT of damage to a flock of sheep!
So is Jedediah true or false? Based on everything I’ve seen, I have no choice but to conclude false. He and his supporters REFUSE to explain what the rather incoherent words mean, so there is no way to compare his message to scripture. Further, they respond to those who question by calling names and threatening judgment. They create division, and blame anyone who merely asks them to explain how the ‘prophecies’ glorify God?
One would expect a true prophet to be GLAD for the chance to give glory to God, rather than call anyone who asks an unbeliever deserving God’s wrath.
Further, Jedediah often seems to utter prophecies that indicate he thinks he is Jesus Christ. Sorry, but no one who does that is a true prophet.
As I’ve pointed out on another thread, some of those I agree with here are folks I’ve debated at great length - with hundreds of posts. Being very human, and having a sinful hot temper, I’ve sometimes thought unkind thoughts of them. Being ex-military with nearly 2500 hours of fighter flight time, I’ve sometimes used rude words - my dogs could testify against me! But that is MY sin, and sometimes God has to deal with MY sin before I can post again.
That said, once God has rebuked me for my temper, I’ve always been able to come back and try to explain again. The people I’ve argued with are folks that God came to earth and died for - they deserve the very best explanation I can give. They aren’t pigs, or swine, or folks for me to call God’s wrath down on...far from it!
I’m no more likely to convince MarkBsnr or Petronski or others to become Baptist than they are to convince me to become Catholic. And given some of the ‘toothy grin Baptist churches’ I’ve seen, that may not be an entirely bad thing...although doctrinally, of course, the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith is one of the finest expressions of...well, we’ll save that for another thread!
But folks reading can see what both sides believe and decide how God wants them to respond. And with time, God is teaching me just enough humility (did I mention pride is my other favorite sin?) to grant Him the right to deal with each of us according to His will and His time.
But Jedediah and Quix seem to skip the whole ‘explain what you believe’ thing and go straight to condemnation. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve asked for an explanation, and there has been NONE. Condemnation? Yep. Explanation? Nope.
So I see no choice but to call Jedediah a false prophet.
And false prophets don’t merit respect.
And I’ve pinged him, so he can defend his views if he wishes - which would be a first!
To be expected...Jedediah quotes a lot of scripture and these 'caucus' people don't even recognize it...They think Jedediah is making this stuff up...
Can YOU explain what his ‘prophecies’ mean? To date, I’ve never received an answer.
how utterly
WRONG
you are.
Last evening, on the phone, Jedediah, rather out of the blue, ministered to me about a very troublesome situation, in Asia, 12 years ago--that he could have had absolutely NO awareness of, apart from God's Holy Spirit.
It was beautiful, redemptive and precisely accurate to the realities invovled.
Wonderful fruit from a wonderful, Biblical anointing.
Of course, those not interested in THE TRUTH, determined to construe the world in THEIR image . . . are not likely to avail themselves of such ministry. Nor is God routinely likely to oblige them, if they do.
I’ve explained the Biblical exhortation God gave some of His prophets
TO AVOID DEFENDING THEMSELVES.
I’ve explained that it’s a fairly broad based teaching that
THAT IS THE PROPER STANCE for servants of God, particularly prophets to take . . .
TO TRUST AND DEPEND ON GOD TO BE THEIR DEFENSE
and to avoid getting caught up in such.
You persist in railing against that very Biblical stance.
That’s soooooooooooooooooooooooooo impressive.
