Abortion facility to close following 40 Days for Life campaign
Shawn Carney (right) of the national 40 Days for Life team, with two Orange County, California campaign leaders, standing next to the real estate sign that was placed outside the abortion facility on Day 39 of the fall 40 Days for Life. The abortion center is going to close its doors and shut down. |
As you look at that picture, think about what it will feel like when the abortion facility or Planned Parenthood nearest to you posts a similar sign the day when you realize that due to your faithfulness, no more children will perish there and no more women will be wounded there.
Thank you, Lord.
One clinic at a time, goodbye and good riddance.
Ping to myself for later....
Not to go all Glenn Beck or anything— but Planned Parenthood has to be run by the Devil. I mean, how else can a group that kills babies, encourages the killing of more babies, and helps facilitate teenage promiscuity and statutory rape get away with referring to themselves as a “family planning” organization.
Delightful news, thanks.
AMEN!
Ave Maria Deo Gratia!
I nomine patri et filii et spiriti sancti,
Amen

WOO HOO!!
How do we know that it closed solely due to the protest?
I’ll see if there is anything elsewhere — such as loss of profit?
BTW, 40 Days for Life is not a protest. It is people walking back and forth and praying in front of a Planned Parenthood Clinic.
I (ans others) have been doing it here in Oregon and the number of cars coming in seems to have diminished in just a month.
The Lord knows the answer. (Smile
How do we know Auschwitz was closed solely due to the allied victory?
Thank you for responding to a straightforward and simple question of proof with a snarky, sarcastic, and actually retarded answer, since the example you chose is obvious.
Now go away while the adults talk. I’ve already received two decent answers from people who took the question seriously.
Maybe.
Thanks for looking into this. i am curious because correlation is not causation but if it was effective in helping close the clinic it would be good to know the mechanism for future exploitation.
Indeed. :-)
Whether the closing was attributable to the demonstration, lost profits, changing hearts, poor plumbing or zoning ordnances, the fact of the matter is our gratitude for its closure should not be clouded by questions of the means by which it was closed.
Then your gratitude will never be repeated because of your failure to analyze the practical foundations of that gratitude because your mind was "clouded" by exuberance.
If one's goal is to close more baby-killing factories then it is more than prudent and relevant to discover the reasons the first one closed.
Your point is well taken...and an AAR is in order to examine what worked and what didn’t; and when such is done here, I’m quite positive the efforts of this group will figure largely in the closing of this abortuary’s doors.
That’s all I was saying.
How do we know it closed because of the actions of this group?
An apology is in order...I initially read your question as a skeptical, dismissive shot at the group's efforts and the power of prayer. I now realize that was not your intent.
No problem. Its all good.
I am interested in strategies that work. Maybe this is one of them.
