I apologize for not being as active on FR these last few months. I have been busy building a presence on FACEBOOK to try to inform, equip and rally as many believers as possible to understand the times we are in and become not just prayer warriors, but activists as well standing up for God’s values to be restored in our culture. However, I have missed you all and felt very led to write out a prayer as HE led for our troops and their families for Christmas. Hoping you will pray with me in one accord! God bless you all!
Dear Lord Jesus,
We pray for our Troops continued safety and protection. We thank you for their strength and compassion. We pray that you would comfort them and their families through their separation. Lord we pray you give them a Merry Christmas.
In your Name,
Amen
Amen
BTTT
amen
Amen
Amen.
May the Spirit of Jesus dwell in the hearts of every troop this day and always and may Your Name be glorified in each life. For at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord to the glory of God our Father. Grant these brave men and women Your perfect peace as they serve their fellow man and may these days of service draw them closer to You. Give strength and assistance to all those who await their loved ones at home. Comfort the children who long to be held in the arms of their earthly fathers and mothers. Grant us victory in every endeavor that honors You, Lord. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Wonderful prayer, Eaglesnest1, and AMEN.
Wonderful prayer. Amen!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Troops and their families. God bless them all.
Good Christmas morning and an amen to your prayer. Thanks for all you do.
P.S. I was at a Christian bookstore yesterday and they had a Bible for our troops from a ministry called “Operation Worship”. It has a camouflage cover and was produced expressively for our troops. The bookstore will send them off and the ministry sees that the Bible gets into the hands of one of our troops. It is an outstanding idea and I'll now be sending a few off to someone who needs one (you can sign them before you send them off). I just discovered it but here is the ministry's link:
Amen.
“Bless also each of our veterans and let them feel Your love around them this Christmas.”
Alpha spent his Christmas day in the VA hospital, with me by his side. He received dozens of cards and small gifts from the VFW, Boy Scouts, candy stripers, University students, and family members. The lunch served today consisted of prime rib and sides. I remember he told me when he was in the USMC, he would get steak for Christmas. Some things never change!
Our daughter and I also treated the nursing staff to platters of food and chocolate. You gotta love Italians, they have great food and are always pushing it in your face.
(I’m only Italian by marriage - I’m “white bread” according to Dom)
Prayers sent from N.Y. to all veterans, and may the peace of Christmas be with you.
