Heavenly Father, it is with grateful hearts that we lift up Your children before the Throne of Grace ... grant unto Ron and Molly the most joyful reunion as all of us welcome him home. We thank You, Lord, for these two, who have expended a lifetime in service to our beloved country. Thank You for Your every provision for them throughout these years, and thank You that You will continue to do so, such is Your love. Grant unto them every good and perfect gift as they celebrate their love for each other, and for You.
In the Name of Jesus, we thank You, Amen ...

TUESDAY JULY 8 — UPDATE
My wonderful DH just emailed me to proudly announced that he’d killed his first camel spider. After Googling to see just what a “camel spider” is, let me just say “EEEEEEEEK!” Apparently they CHASE YOU because they want to “rest in your shadow.” (I would seriously have a heart attack if chased by a giant creepy sand spidery thing ... Google at your own risk!)
He also reported that the paperwork had just been submitted for him to receive TWO combat medals (for 20 combat sorties, each ... 40 in all).... for THIS visit to “summer camp.” (What he calls it.)
