It seems awful low that 20% would be attending today on Easter Sunday.

I attended this morning. The Mass I attended was quite crowded. After two pastors quite challenging to like we have one who is easy to like. Now if we could just lose our socialist deacon we would be on to something.
I don't know about 20% or any percent for that matter. I think our parish is growing again after a long decline.

I don’t know if a lot would have gone, since the Great Vigil Mass is one of the longest in the Church (2 hours at least), which, is more than the average Catholic will sit through. I went to Vigil as did my wife and parents.

Iraq.
And yes, I attended church today...a Christian non-denominational service.
It was nice. Rustic, but nice.
Happy Easter!

Being in Iraq probably helps to keep arguments over denominational minutiae in proper perspective.

Not a Christian so I won’t be.

Yep, went to the 7:00 a.m. service, a full breakfast at the church hall, and then to the 10:00 a.m. service. Both excellent.

Yes, my daughter and I went last night. She altar served all three nights, as she was only one of two or three kids who showed up each night. :-( However, we are a very small parish. Last night I lectored until my tongue grew numb!

Maundy Thursday service; 3 hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament followed by 3 pm Mass on Good Friday; High Mass at 11:`15. Saturday night I stayed home for my annual viewing of The Ten Commandments. Yes it is cheesy by todays standards but it is a good movie to view before Easter.
