Votes were in and announcement was made at 10:42AM Pacific Time. Over 70% of clergy and 90% of laity voted for the motion. All clergy are now officially part of the Archdiocese of the Southern Cone. Those clergy wishing to remain will be released to TEC. More to follow...
Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams. A ‘good news’ bump. Ilker and Duncan should follow next year.
Praise God! TEC and das Uberfrau Schori cannot push around bishops & their dioceses like they are congregations. TEC will certainly subject to worldwide Anglican Communion censure if they try.
oops missed a “be” there.
This news of an entire diocese defecting is major in its implications...it really should be on Drudge.
This should be quite a blow to TEC.

Welcome San Joaquin!
Episcopalians out of exile and in to a new life in Christ. We serve an awesome God.
As a high-church Anglican used to tell me, when fired upon, turn and fire a broadside. Well done.
Looks like God is doing a new thing!
I wonder if C-SPAN will carry THIS Bishop’s speech?
