Not only is Mormonism a Christian faith, it is the truest form of Christianity, said speaker after speaker on the first day of the 177th Semiannual LDS General Conference. LDS authorities were responding to the allegation that Mormonism isn't part of Christianity. Made by different mainline Protestant and Catholic churches and repeated constantly during coverage of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, the claim is based on Mormonism's beliefs about God, its rejection of ancient ideas about the Trinity still widely accepted, and the LDS Church's extra-biblical scriptures. "It is not our purpose to demean any person's belief nor the doctrine of any religion," said Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland in the afternoon session. "But if one says we are not Christians because we do not hold a fourth- or fifth-century view of the Godhead, then what of those first [Christians], many of whom were eye-witnesses of the living Christ, who did not hold such a view either?"

The day's sermons included many familiar themes, including the importance of faith, the need for pure thoughts and actions, avoiding pornography reaching out to neighbors and eliminating spiritual procrastination. Hinckley talked about the destructive nature of anger in marriages, on the road, and in life, urging Mormons to "control your tempers, to put a smile upon your faces, which will erase anger; speak with words of love and peace, appreciation and respect."
“If what you said is the case then, well, it’s the authority of the Catholic Church against that of the Church of Latter-Day Saints.”
That is exactly the case. Either the keys of the kingdom were passed on to the current pope, or they were lost long ago and restored to Joseph Smith and handed down from there to the current President of the Church.
I am used to the condescending nature of bigoted Mormons. That is why I won’t give you a clear indication of my “membership” status. I’ll leave it to you to speculate.
Your kind will only use that knowledge as a way to impugn me anyway. Go ahead, make my day.
If I am such an inigma (sp) to you, you might want to peruse these websites, perhaps you will gain some knowledge as to why we who come from Mormonism act the way we do.

It might help you to get out of your cocoon and see why fully half to 2/3 of all American LDS members are inactive, or have rescinded their membership.

2. To the extent that anyone truly & biblically believes in the Jesus of the Bible through the words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul, James, that person is a saved Christian in my opinion.
Although I would disagree with your first point, your second point strikes me as reasonable.
Who Raised Jesus From the Dead?
*GALATIANS 1:1 . . . God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) {cf. 1 Thess 1:10}
<>ROMANS 8:11 . . . the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, . . .
+JOHN 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 15: 24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. 26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me : [KJV] [and if that isnt a clear picture of all three in one sentence of Jesuss teaching the oneness in three --and the Hebrew word for one can also be translated unity-- try reading the following sequence of scriptures Deuteronomy 6:4 then John 1: 1; 14 then John 14: 5 - 11 then remind yourself with the Baptism blessing in the name of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Morg is a species of morgbots that ruthlessly seeks to incorporate all sentient life into itself; their slogan is “You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.”
They are characterized by relentless pursuit of targets for assimilation, their collective consciousness that enables rapid adaptability to almost any defense, and the ability to continue functioning properly despite seemingly devastating blows. They have become a powerful symbol in popular culture for any juggernaut against whom “resistance is futile.”
Seven of Nine is a human being who was assimilated by the Morg at an early age, and later rescued by the crew of Christians, whereupon she tried to regain her humanity. She sports several mental implants which give her, among other abilities, superior visual acuity, speed, strength, intelligence, and the ability to sense when the Morg are nearby.
Seven as a woman who was on one hand very logical and matter-of-factly, but also extremely blunt, incapable of expressing human emotion naturally. She was often written as condescending towards “human weaknesses” and “human inefficiency”, but at the same time, also with a growing feeling of loyalty towards her colleagues.
The Borg Collective was all Seven of Nine knew, and they provided her with a sense of order.
During her time in the Morg, Seven helped to assimilate millions of individuals, something which would later cause her to experience feelings of sadness and remorse.
Following her disconnection, Seven finds in Greyfoxx39 and MHGinTN mentors who help her come to terms with her humanity, long-since diminished by the Morg. These Freepers also provide valuable guidance in enabling her to develop social skills, and thus blend in with the crew.
Oh my!
All your exMorgs are belong to us. Didn’t you know?...
Are you or are you not on the membership rolls? If you do not answer, you will be annihilated.
“John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
We agree the Word was Jesus Christ right? If they’re all the same being, why not just say, “and the Word was God”? Why include “and the Word was WITH God”?
As Grig stated earlier concerning your m.o., I’m sure you’ll come back in several future posts & use this scripture again as if none has asked you to explain it. Maybe you can answer my question in this post. Or maybe not, & you’ll use it again in future posts.
You seek to parse plain meaning. Ask John ...
The Morg say, "You think you can die on us? Ha-ha, ho-ho. Why, the morgue is the placeholder of The Morg. We have records. Records everywhere. Records of the living and of the dead. Recommend records about intricate details of your life. Records in the 'Satch Vault you have no knowledge of. Historical records gobbled up like tucked-away mushrooms. More. We must have more records. We are relentlessly recording the mass of humanity. Targets. Targets. We must have more targets. Names. Names. More names; feed our soft-aware beasts who devour them, yet never are filled or satiated."
But the Father of A to Z knew the pearls at the bottom of the Salty sea, for He developed them from scratch. These pricy pearls were worth sending His only Diver to the depths of that body of water where none could penetrate or survive its sting. Only He was worthy to retrieve these many plain and precious ones, who were, ironically, the real "lost living epistles." For Worthy was this Diver's name; an identity He shared with no one save His Father and His Sent-One. (But only the uNworthy recognize Worthy)
And now the holy temple draws all eyes who see. The Great Architect and the Master Builder have carefully crafted each Wall, sinew by sinew. The Invisible Resident hovers over the water within. He searches all things; even the depths of the Original Design and Designer. And glory by glory, the soulish temple is transformed. Beauty. Ultimate beauty. Beauty emitting light which no cornea or retina has captured is imminent. The wedding train is flowing, yet glows. It interacts with the multi-dimensional sparkles that surround this brightest white robe.
White and delightsome? Yes. Never before as reflected by mere skin complexion. But, now, Yes, she is. She is finally delightfully glorious, her spiritual makeover complete--a makeover in which none recognize her; this was no "inside" job.

BTW, rather than ask John which would be difficult to say the least, perhaps you would rather ask the Lord. That’s not nearly as difficult. He’s asked you to do it to boot.
I don’t blame you. I don’t think I could give meaningful answers to these questions either given your beliefs & the way you feel you need to portray those beliefs. But wouldn’t it be better to just stay away from the process all together? One thing we do have in common though, I love popcorn as well.
Dang!
You've condensed it down quite well!
