A family member in has died, as she had wished, at home in Faribault, MN.
MaryAnn fought a long, brave fight with cancer which finally took her today.
I know it would mean so much to her husband, Lloyd, that others were praying for her.
She loved baseball and the Twins.
Lord, receive MaryAnn's soul this day, where she might see every game and know every team won, and that the true and eternal win of being with You is now hers.
Thank you so much. God Bless You, All.
May God bless her and comfort the family!
Thank you for letting those of us that didn’t know her join you too in praying for her and her family.
God bless.
Hang in there.
I know the pain of losing a loved one and still suffer after my wife passed.
Please post your replies to onedoug

I may say to those of you also who have been bereavedif you believe in providence you may grieve; but your grief must not be excessive. I remember at a funeral of a friend hearing a pretty parable which I have told before, and will tell again. There was much weeping on account of the loss of a loved one, and the minister put it thus. He said, Suppose you are a gardener employed by another; it is not your garden, but you are called upon to tend it, and you have your wages paid you. You have taken great care with a certain number of roses; you have trained them up, and there they are, blooming in their beauty. You pride yourself upon them. You come one morning into the garden, and you find that the best rose has been taken away. You are angry: you go to your fellow-servants, and charge them with having taken the rose. They will declare that they had nothing at all to do with it; and one says, I saw the master walking here this morning; I think he took it. Is the gardener angry then? No, at once he says, I am happy that my rose should have been so fair as to attract the attention of the master. It is his own: he hath taken it; let him do what seemeth him good.
It is even so with your friends. They wither not by chance; the grave is not filled by accident; men die according to Gods will. Your child is gone, but the Master took it; your husband is gone, your wife is buried,the Master took them; thank him that he let you have the pleasure of caring for them and tending them while they were here, and thank him that as he gave, he himself has taken away. If others had done it, you would have had cause to be angry; but the Lord has done it. Can you, then, murmur? Will you not say
Thee at all times will I bless;
Having thee I all possess;
How can I bereaved be,
Since I cannot part with thee.

Lloyd is in need of our prayers to help him through this difficult time. I have sent mine for him. MaryAnn is safe and secure in the arms of Our Lord now.
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Joining in prayer.
I join with the others here lifting you and all the family up to God as you deal with MaryAnn’s homegoing.
My prayers for the repose of her soul and gratitude that she was brave enough to face Him from her home with her loved ones.
Think of the great Twins games she’ll see up there as well...
You have help in heaven. God bless and keep the family.
