Prayer Request for Jersey Republican Biker Chick

Update
They will be going in through my stomach to remove my damaged disk. They will be inserting a metal cage to take its place. Then after I am closed, they will scrub down the entire operating room again and disinfect it.
Then they are going to flip my on my stomach and cut my back open and insert screws, bone fragments and cement to fuse my spine where the disk is being removed.
I have a really ugly brace to wear after surgery whenever I am out of bed walking around.
The surgery will take 6-7 hours long, and I will be in the hospital for 3-5 days. I will be out of work at least 3 months.

Oh, gosh, that sounds like a difficult process - but only a few days in the hospital - great!

My father-in-law had a very similar operation about 25 years ago. A tree fell on him at work (pulpwooder). He was in a upper body cast then a brace for about 9 months. He's been fine ever since!..............
