Revelation 19:11-14

I would have at least expected a Fox News Alert!

Anyway, this man is hardly the first... with Messianic pretensions, aside from politicians of every trend, that is. He was preceded in this noble endeavor by the MITA Congregation, whose followers believe that Aarón, their leader, is "the Prophet, the Instrument chosen by God in these days, and that it is through his voice that the Lord sends a message to cleanse us, free us of sin, and unite us in one flock."

there are a bunch of them -- it's a very successful business model. "Bishop" Edir Macedo of Brazil is probably a billionaire by now.

I saw the segment too. I just don't understand how people can be fooled by such an obvious fraud.

What will happen when he dies, by the way?

Will a chosen successor claim to be this loser in another body?

Is this supposed to be funny? Well, I got a laugh out of it.

If it's not supposed to be funny, then Dr. Miranda better avoid thunderstorms with a passion.

Go figure... a real life anti-Christ...

Did you know that there was an anti-Christ in Central Asia who killed 85 million people just last century?

(Emperor Salesse (sp?) in Ethiopia was only held to be Christ after his death)

When I lived in Puerto Rico, I used to watch los Mitas on TV occasionally just for the fun of it. I would notice that, for a man who is supposed to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in him, Aarón is a far from eloquent preacher. The sect also has several business holdings, I believe under the umbrella name Hermanos Mita, Inc.

At least, they have a great band.
