Please pray for her and her family as well as Ed.
**Could you please ping your prayer list for the death of my son Ed -44 years old.accidential death.Official.Pray for our family.Ed saw Father on saturday and went to confession and went to Mass on Sunday and was was found dead wends morning at 1 AM.**
I join with all the others here lifting you and your loved ones up to God for His peace, blessing, healing and guidance as you deal with your beloved son's homegoing.
May you take comfort in our Lord and this tragic time. We will be praying for you and your son.

Certainly prayers for all concerned that you be wrapped thickly in God's special love, comfort, presence, provision, PEACE and wholeness. May each of you draw closer to God and each other through this great raging pain and ache.

Certainly the 'natural order of things' is that parents should always precede their children in death, but death itself is against the 'natural order' of things'. Since the Fall of Adam, we all suffer from the curse of sin: disease, pain, age, and death. As Romans 6:23 says, 'The wages of sin is death...', but as it also says: but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
I know you are mourning in darkness right now, but remember there is an everlasting light that you can lean on and that can get you through these difficult times. Remember He who said, (Hebrews 13:5b), I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, will always be by your side. HE is the light of the world. HE will be coming back soon, (Revelation 21:4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
In time of trouble, or weariness, or pain -- I always point to the great words of comfort in Philippians 4:
Philippians 4:6-9 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Bring your requests and prayers onto God AND think on HIM who alone was true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of virtue, and worthy of praise -- think on Jesus. Come to HIM, and lay your burdens upon HIM. HE knows your pain, and HE'll get you through.
