You are in our prayers Fatima. Jesus hear us, Jesus graciously hear us. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Take, O Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding and my will; all that I have and possess. You have given them to me; to you, O Lord, I restore them. All things are yours: Use them according to your will. Give me your love and your grace; for this is enough for me.

Honestly ... I can't tell you how to feel or how to act .. because I can only imagine the pain that is in your heart
But please don't forget that your children can help you .. just as much as you can help them during this difficult time of your lives.
Don't be afraid to talk with them .. or to lean on them if needed
If you feel that you need to get angry .. then do so
Though I might suggest having the kids with you when you tell off some guy ... backup is always a good thing :-)

We don't know why, fatima, God does. There is a plan, but we often see only the results, not the plan itself. What to us seems so unfair works out in the long run.
Keep the faith. Trust in Him, and someday all will be revealed.
That will not stop you from missing your son or your sister, from grieving their absence in this world, nor ultimately, remembering them with warmth and love and without the grief.
May God bless you and keep you and bring peace to your heart.

Fatima, the Lord has blessed your beloved son, Ed, taking him into His loving arms. May he grant you the comfort, peace and serenity you will need to get thru the pain of your loss in this temporal world.

"...I began to understand the story of the cross in a new way. And when...alone, confused, and frightened, Jesus the Son understood...He has been there.
"To my understanding, Christianity is the only religion that can make these claims about God: that He has been in our place (both as a Parent and as a Son) and gone through the same things we do. He has not called us to anything He has not done Himself.
"By living out Gods own story, a communion and knowing occurs that is impossible to achieve at any other time. God is not a God who stands aloof, doing His will and watching from a distance while we writhe about. He cares deeply and desires to be intimately close."

Dear fatima, you may not be ready for those words. You are angry, and I've been there too, in time of grieving. It will seem impossible in the midst of this particular feeling of grief that you will ever feel any other way. That is how it works. Right now you can just hold on for all you're worth, with what weak grip you have, or no grip left at all, as you faint, as you "die daily" and rage against the sorrow with The Why Scream. I've been there too.
Every single one of us grieves in a different way, and each cause for grieving, and every step in that valley, is unique to itself. That is how it works. This is your very difficult and unique journey, and I have hesitated to post anything at all for fear of misunderstanding your incomprehensible place, and being misunderstood in my meager attempts to love you. I do love you and my prayers are lifted to God's Throne for you in Jesus' Name.
from that same site:
"Yes, the death of our child is a stumbling block, and yet we remember that even Gods own Son was subjected to death. This is why I still believe that the God of the Bible is exactly Who He says He is, and that our stumbling block somehow fits into His plan."
I heard you express the same faith in the midst of not one but two incomprehensible deaths in your post 142:
"God is in charge and God wins. Always."
Sometimes all we can do is faint to the floor; unable to follow...there, full of anger and grief unmeasurable, uncontainable - we are overwhelmed - in His Presence, nonetheless.
Cry and rage and be weak.
Our prayers and postings are our small attempt to hold you as you do so, to say,
"I hear you, and I'm here for you."
Our Father, what can we ask but that You hold our dear fatima and all her family close, close, close, and see them and hear them in the midst of these waters that threaten to overflow, and somehow, through these awful days, show them that You Are A God Near and not far off. We believe You never leave or forsake us, even when we can't see You in the darkness, Our Merciful Father. We know You even understand what it is to feel left and forsaken: The Son Himself cried out from His cross: "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?" Please display tender mercies in the midst of this awful scene - it feels like another sort of crucifixion, Lord, and we can't fathom why - only let us never grieve as those who have no hope.
We grieve, even so, and Thou knowest all things.
