May Terri light the way for people to not lose faith in their continuing effort to battle the spirits of darkness that prevails in the culture of death.

May Terri light the way for people to not lose faith in their continuing effort to battle the spirits of darkness that prevails in the culture of death. Didn't the court decide it was Terri's wish to die?

Friends of Terri, please ignore the Terri-thread trasher newgeezerIt was an honest question.
But, if your screen name and profile are any indication, you might be one of those all-Terri-all-the-time gushers who can't be bothered for a reasoned discussion.

It's hard to ignore them. What I think I'm going to start doing is simply hitting the abuse button up front on these people. By their second post they are typically calling other posters names.

"it would be agonizing if you or I were locked in a room for two weeks and deprived of all food and water."
After just a few days without water, it seems like the only agonizing would be on the part of the poor sap who's tasked with removing the rotting corpse.

So? The point was, I'd expected after only a few days (not two weeks) without food and water, the victim would be dead, free from any agony. (Of course, it turns out it was closer to two weeks. So, I was wrong.)
So, what's the problem?

I regret so much the only time I saw Fr. Frank, and up close at that was as he went in to visit Terri in her last hour. No time to meet him or talk. I am so glad he was there at that moment.

Didn't the court decide it was Terri's wish to die? Didn't the court find O.J. not guilty, abortion a federally guaranteed right, segregation legal, then illegal, .etc.

After all your posts in the previous Terri threads of March, it's nice to note that you have now finally begun to regard her as a "victim".
That's progress. And...Who was it that 'victimized' her?

After all your posts in the previous Terri threads of March,Which posts were those? Perhaps you're confused. If you look at my posts, I think you'll find I was, for the most part, on your side (her parents' side or, "her" side, if you insist).
it's nice to note that you have now finally begun to regard her as a "victim".
With that, I wasn't speaking of her specifically but rather, referring to anyone who has died by starvation.

Didn't the court find O.J. not guilty,Yes, in one of the two cases against him.
abortion a federally guaranteed right,
It did. Thus, it is (for now).
segregation legal, then illegal, .etc.
It was and is no longer.
So many people think Terri's case was about the right to life. It wasn't. It wasn't even about the right to die. Terri's case was about who speaks for a person when that person is no longer able to speak for herself.

Me too, 8mmMauser. Father Frank is a wonderful, caring man. I wish there were more people just like him.
I'm glad he was right there to tell the truth about what happened to Terri.
