So many people think Terri's case was about the right to life. It wasn't. It wasn't even about the right to die. Terri's case was about who speaks for a person when that person is no longer able to speak for herself.
Which ended up costing her her life, hence the focus on right to life issues. It's sad to see so many professed Christians eager to declare "the law has spoken, the case is closed". One would think that Pilot could be reformed and that Jesus really meant to say "when I was sick, you ended my suffering by removing my feeding tube"
