"Your opinions are bizarre. They should be rejected."

From your home page:

I guess there's not two sides to every issue. Perhaps you should change your name.

I guess there's not two sides to every issue. Perhaps you should change your name.

Always look to the homepage to attack the person when you have nothing further to add.

BTW, it is truly bizarre to pretend that to reject someones opinion is to deny it exists.

The poster has his side, it is simply incorrect. My side is to oppose such bizarre opinions and suggest they be rejected. I never said they didn't exist.

I was raised Catholic,I attend the baptist the methodist and the Catholic Church.I have respect for the major denominations .I have no problem as long as the individual church preaches sound biblical doctrine

"I have no problem if he does, but you need to prove it.."

I don't have to "prove" anything. You must consider this author a liar since he didn't "prove" it to your satisfaction. Perhaps it would be better if you "prove" the author is a liar. On the other hand, I see where you don't care.

As far as the translation of scripture goes here are some comparisons:

If you cannot understand the subtle differences in these translations, I would suggest you have greater concerns than Rick Warren.

The reason you think its bizarre is because you don.t seem to take Satan and his angels very seriously.
If that is indeed what you are doing its a mistake.

Take Emanuel Swedenborg for example; He always professed and preached how much he loved Jesus, but he did not believe Satan existed. His was preaching unbiblical and it was his downfall. He had a miserable life because he did not take Satan seriously. Its very important to always be on guard and to put on the full armor of God to resist the wiles of the Devil

I don't understand why you feel you must deny he advocates these methods when Rick Warren doesn't.

Go back and re-read my post Harley. I wasn't denying or agreeing with anything about the methods or the affiliations.

All I was saying is that you can't "prove" something just because "it's on the Internet."

Your opinions are bizarre. They should be rejected.

I find it fascinating for you to make such a statement, especially since pro610 and others use scripture to defend their statements and opinions, and have gone to some length to explain themselves.

Whereas you just throw rocks at anyone who challenges your worldview, and you have not provided one lick of support for any of your charges or opinions, nor have you responded to direct questions to support your own statements.

I can tell you that you may put on a nice "show" for the uninitiated here on FR or on the internet in general, but as a true debater, you are amateurish and ineffective...a non-player. Cheerios and milk at a steak dinner.

Note: I have not taken a side on this issue, just commenting on your (lack of) debating skills.

I don't think Rick Warren has any concerns, nor do I. If you don't like a "Message", don't read it.

I don't have to "prove" anything.

Of course not. When you say things and state them as fact however, if you cannot prove them or even offer evidence, you have no credibility. That is why these crazy allegations are to be discarded.

If I say you eat little babies, no one in their right mind would find it credible unless I offered evidence. Same with the goofy statments of "fact" you keep misleading the site with. You say it's so, so it's so. Sorry, that won't fly. BTW, I never called anyone a liar, so don't imply that I did.

As far as the translations, you CLAIM he preaches from the ones you don't like. But of course, it's the same as all the rest of your statements, incredible unless you can provide evidence.

One more not so small point. The "Message" is not a translation of the bible, it's a paraphrased version of the new testament. For people who have difficulty with reading comprehension or vocabulary. I'm sure many would like to leave those people out of the good news, but I'm guessing Christ isn't one of them.

As to me proving anything, the burden of proof is on the person who makes the claim, not the one who asks for proof.

You are on dangerous ground accusing someone with the Holy Spirit in them of being Satanic
There is such a thing as unforgivable Sin you know.
Sin against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable.

Ummm, I'm not debating anyone. That might explain your confusion.

I pointedly declared that I wasn't interested in debating scripture or playing "dueling verses". You must have missed that post before you jumped to your conclusions.

I have made the following points.
The posters do not define what is Christian and what is not.
They also do not have any authority to say that they are the final word on what the interpretations of the scriptures they cited are.
They have made charges and inferrences about Rick Warren which they cannot back up, therefore those charges are to be given small weight IMO.
The opinions they give, are opinions, not facts.

But hey, thanks for your irrelevant opinions on my posts.

It's anyone's guess what that bizarre comment means. Please cite whatever post you thought I did that.

Well, at your suggestion I did go back and reread the posts. While you certainly did state that one cannot "prove" anything just because it's on the Internet (something I would agree with) the implications in the "Aw shucks..." gave me the legitimate impression of disagreement.

I see from this post you're neither disagreeing or agreeing with my statement; only my poorly chosen phrasing.

I,m sure you will manipulate what you really meant
Are you opposing scripture also?
{1 Corinthians 1:21)
Since God,s wisdom of the world did not come to know Him through "wisdom" it pleased God to save those who believe through the absurdity of preaching the gospel

The opinions they give, are opinions, not facts.

So are every one of your posts, just opinions, of which any and all opinions on any topic are always open for debate.

You are even more lacking than I thought...but hey, that's just my opinion!

They have made charges and inferrences about Rick Warren which they cannot back up, therefore those charges are to be given small weight IMO.

Oops, you are weakening your position...you previously stated..."That is why these crazy allegations are to be discarded."...and... "My side is to oppose such bizarre opinions and suggest they be rejected.". To now say those charges are to be given small weight IMO is a concession.

Can you back up any charges that you have made? Or should you just admit that these are just your opinion as well, which you did admit to in your reply to me?

Post 70 stands on it's own. It says nothing that you claim.

Are you opposing scripture also?

Have you stopped beating your wife?

I think you need to seek mental evaluation. Please do not post to me anymore.

Please show proof Rick Warren has done this.

Do you realize how many of today's "church" practices ARE derived from pagan rituals?

Apparently not.

Ricky Warren is the least of our problems, although his PDL/PDC thrust is very troubling.

This is a revelation to you? It is a given. I have never claimed otherwise, and in fact, have clearly stated it several times.
