If he thinks no one can know God or His will, what the hell is he doing wearing priestly robes and lecturing people? Anyone who listens to this evil man is going to hell in his wake. He says no one can hear, yet he must think he can, otherwise why would he preach? He should shut up and contemplate his own sins.

Well, well - and someone SAID this, right?

The simple truth is: God makes His will known through scripture - and every religion in the world agrees on the basic moral absolutes. And any human who wants to know God's will out of a sincere desire to mold him or herself to that Supreme Will, will be able to do so. It's simple - rather too simple and honest for the devious, for those who want to pretend to be holy and simultaneous commit forbidden acts, and what is the worst and most unforgiveable of all, mislead others.

Vicki Gene Robinson, as we all suspected, is a 'bishop' with a clear agenda and it does not include authentic scriptural teachings. How much more will the ECUSA tolerate from this homosexual?

According to Marcus Grodi, director of the Coming Home Network, their organization is currently assisting 440 Protestant clergy (yes, clergy) who wish to enter the Catholic Church. Although there are many organizations to take care of lay converts, the clergy have special problems. It is very difficult and often extremely painful for a Protestant minister to leave his job as a pastor and come into the Catholic Church because suddenly he has no way to support his family. He has to find a new career, learn a new trade, get a decent job and start his life over again.

One Protestant minister in Michigan was under tremendous debt trying to provide for his family. Things were so bad he placed his home and auto up for sale to try to provide clothing and food for his children.

I thought it was the author of the fourth gospel, not Jesus, who referred to himself as the one Jesus loved. In any event, the Greek specifies agape love, not erotic love.

Hey!! I wish more of us read up on those ancient heresies -- as you pointed out correctly, they keep popping up now-a-days. Many of the Protestant world's teachings right from CAlvin's predestination etc. all stem from 1st/2nd/3rd century heresies.

On another note, most of those heresies ascribed to Origen are really people's interpretations from his diaries, where he was debating with different ideas. There's no proof that he subscribed to those ideas himself.

You know, I've always felt that Origen got a bum rap. He was writing so vey early on, when may of the major questions about what had been revealed were still being discussed and far from understood. My own impression of much of what he wrote is that he was sort of ruminating about things, not teaching a particular dogma.
