PROPHETIC SIGNS THAT WE ARE IN THE END TIMES [A good summary of SOME key evidences--QX]

The Bible gives many examples of signs that should warn us of the coming end of the age. Six such signs are given by Jesus, two characteristics are given by Paul, and eleven other occurrences are given by the prophets to occur prior to or soon after the end of the age. While we are also told we will not know the time of the End, God obviously wanted us to know when that time was getting closer. As the Christian church is increasingly drawn into the interfaith movement, and as more and more churches go into isolation, preparing to sleep through the growing attacks on their faith, perhaps God knew it would take a few signs to wake us up and remind us that we have work to do.

Unfortunately, many Christians take the verses that tell us we won't know the time of His coming to mean they should ignore any and all scripture that might warn us of this time of tribulation. Others have fallen into the trap of fearing being labeled a "conspiracy theorist" should they display an interest in the Biblical prophecies about our future on Earth. My philosophy is simple. God included it in the Bible and, since God is all knowing, we should trust that it is something we should know and study along with the rest of His Word.

It is increasingly obvious that the time of our Lord's coming is drawing near. Prophecy is being fulfilled daily, and at a faster pace than ever before. Whether you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, or believe Christians will be witness to the full tribulation, wrath, and final judgments, matters not. The beginning of birth pains and the signs of the times should have the same effect on all of us. It should motivate us to save as many souls as we can in the time that we have left. The Great Commission tells us to be disciples to all nations, bringing the message of salvation through Christ to all people. If the Church is raptured before the tribulation, it is important that we leave behind an explanation for the trials and judgments those left behind will face. How else will they recognize the deception of the anti-Christ and seek instead the truth of the Bible? If we are to endure the tribulation along side them, we will need to be prepared to not only share the message of salvation, but share with them the reasons for God's judgment and hold it up as further proof of their need to be saved.

Below is a study of the prophetic signs God gave us as a warning of the approaching end of the age. Many of them are being fulfilled now and many will be fulfilled in the near future. I would encourage you to study prophecy, know what is coming and be prepared to share it with others.

In Matthew24:3 Jesus was asked, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" Jesus told his apostles to look for the following signs prior to his second coming and the end of the age.

Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many."

In the last several years many have claimed to be the Messiah. Jim Jones and David Koresh are examples of these false christs as well as countless others who are not as newsworthy. These false prophets are a prelude to the ultimate false christ, the antichrist. Many New Age groups, some even NGO's working for the United Nations, are anxiously awaiting the antichrist, preparing the way for his acceptance as the head of the hierarchy of gods and the one who will usher in world peace.

Matthew 24:6 "And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."

Rumors of wars in all areas of the world now occur frequently thanks to instant media coverage and the availability of a multitude of 24-hour news sources.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

More people have been killed in warfare in this century than at any other time in history. As the death toll rises in the Middle East, more and more countries work feverishly to develop devastating weapons of mass destruction. Add to that the expanding threat of terrorism and unpredictable dictators such as Saddam Hussein, and the potential for the outbreak of war exists in nations, kingdoms and places across the globe.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

As white, Christian farmers are driven out of Africa in increasing numbers, and foreigners move in to replace life-sustaining crops with poppies that now supply 25% of the worlds drugs, famine spreads across the African continent. The undernourished are not limited to Africa, however. A large portion of the worlds 5 billion people suffers from a shortage of food.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

The number and intensity of earthquakes this century is at a level higher than any other time in history. A staggering number of seismic events occur around the world daily. The earthquake seismic monitor IRIS shows all major earthquakes for the last year. Indicated by yellow and red circles, the seismic events of the last 15 days provides strong evidence of the fulfillment of Matthew 24:7 in our day. By contrast, in the years from 1890 to 1900 there was only one major earthquake in the world.

Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."

Christians are under attack throughout the world today. In the United States Christians still enjoy freedom to worship God without suffering much more than ridicule, hatred, or discrimination at work and school. However in many other countries such as China, Sudan, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Russia, and many Muslim nations, Christian suffer much greater persecution and often times death for their faith. During the tribulation this suffering will be worldwide and will continue even to the point of martyrdom. These first 5 signs will increase in intensity and severity as the tribulation approaches, much like the birth pangs or contractions of a pregnant woman worsen as the delivery time approaches.

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."

This prophecy has already been fulfilled through television, radio, missionaries, the translation of the Bible into many languages, and the internet. People all over the world now hear the message of Christ from missionaries who have the means to travel the globe, and via technology that allows us to communicate with people on the other side of the world right from our own homes, churches and offices.

II Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

For anyone who has watched television, read a newspaper, lost a retirement to corporate greed and corruption, or just walked outside their front door, it is obvious this prophecy has been fulfilled by our generation. Our leaders are often corrupt; our cities are filled with crime, brutality, and neon signs proclaiming our sinful, godless nature. The New Age Movement brings in increasing numbers of mystics who claim to be the enlightened ones. They are some of the most educated and influential people in our societies, and yet the most lacking in real truth.

I Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."

Churches today are becoming more and more ecumenical, embracing the New Age interfaith agenda, and denying Christ as the only way to salvation. Giving in to the politically correct media and a corrupt society, they have embrace homosexuality as an acceptable alternate lifestyle and preach tolerance and compromise in place of God's truth for the salvation of the world. The environmentalist movement within the New Age movement lures them into a worship of mother earth, belief in past lives, reincarnation, and Karma while demonizing all those who would eat the meat God gave us as nourishment for our bodies.

Revelation 9:16 "And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them."

An army of that size had never existed until China's army reached that number in the 1960's.

Daniel 2:32-33 "The head of the statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay."

Daniel 2:40-43 "Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so like iron that breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all these in pieces. And in that you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it will be a divided kingdom; but it will have the toughness of iron, and partly of pottery, so some of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle. And in that you saw the iron mixed with clay, they will combine with one another in the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, even as iron does not combine with pottery."

The fourth kingdom of iron is the Roman empire according to Daniel's interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. The two legs are the division of the Roman empire into an eastern portion called the Byzantine empire which ended in the 1400's and a western portion based in Rome which ended in the 400's. The nations of Europe since the Roman empire dissolved have never adhered or formed one empire but continue as separate nations, however, the European Union now has 15 Member States and is preparing for the accession of 13 eastern and southern European countries.

Zephaniah 3:9 "For then I will return to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent."

Prior to the restoration of Israel in 1948, Hebrew was a dead language. Now Hebrew is spoken throughout Israel.

4. REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE, RESTORATION OF TEMPLE WORSHIP AND ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN JERUSALEM

For several end time prophecies to be fulfilled, the temple will have to be rebuilt.

Revelation 11:2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the oly city for forty-two months."

Daniel 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolation, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

Daniel 9:26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary."

Some archeologists believe that the temple mount is actually 340 feet south of the Dome of the Rock site, putting the Dome of the Rock within the Court of the Gentiles. This may be the court outside the temple that is left out.

There are many groups already working on preparations for the new temple. The blueprints are already done, the temple garments have been made, and there have already been attempts to lay the cornerstone of the temple. The only thing standing in the way of the construction of the new temple is Islam's third holiest site, the Dome of the Rock and government support for such an undertaking. Some possible scenarios for the rebuilding of the temple are as follows:

1. The persuasion and performing of miracles by the Antichrist and False Prophet convinces the Islamic world to approve the rebuilding.

2. The United Nations will negotiate the rebuilding of the temple following a war with the armies from the North (Russia and Islamic forces). This assumes that the war with the armies from the North is not the battle of Armageddon as some feel and that this attack occurs before the rapture or tribulation period begins. The supernatural destruction of the Russian army and Islamic forces will cause an outpouring of Christian worship and zeal amongst the Jewish people who will reconstruct the temple.

3. It is determined that the site of the first two temples is actually south of the Dome of the Rock, and the court of the gentiles (Dome of the Rock) will be left out of the 3rd temple.

A group in Israel called the Temple Mount Faithful have obtained most of the clothing, instruments and other equipment required for temple worship and are actively preparing for the laying of the third temple's cornerstone.

Numbers 19:2-7 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed. "You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence. Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times. "Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned. "The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening."

A red heifer will be required to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers. In May 1997 the first Red Heifer was born in 2000 years. Another red Heifer was born in Israel in March of 2002.

Daniel 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

Billy Graham was quoted as saying, "ninety percent of all the engineers and scientists who have ever lived are alive today." Air travel, space travel, DNA research and human cloning are all examples of the rapid increase in knowledge in our generation.

Zephaniah 3:10-11 "From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, will bring My offerings. In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain."

In 1984, Operation Moses saw the airlift of 15,000 Jews who had already fled to refugee camps in Sudan to escape starvation. In 1991, Operation Solomon flew 20,000 Jews to Israel from Ethiopia itself. A further airlift began in June of 1999, aimed at transporting the last 3,000 members of the Quara Jewish community from northeastern Ethiopia to Israel.

Ezekiel 38:2,4,8 "Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him. I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords. After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them."

In order for some end time events to occur Russia will have to be a strong nation with a strong military.

Jeremiah 23:7-8 "Therefore behold, the days are coming declares the Lord, when they will no longer say, as the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, but as the Lord lives, who brought up and led back the descendants of the household of Israel from the north land and from all the countries where I have driven them. Then they will live on their own soil."

In the 1970's and 1980's there was a mass exodus of Russian Jews out of Communist Russia. In 1999 the Associated Press reported a dramatic increase in the number of Jewish immigrants from Russia, bringing the largest number of Russian Jews to Israel since the early 1990's.

Revelation 13:16-17 "And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."

On May 10, three members of a family in Florida became the first people to receive the biochip implant. Each device, made of silicon and called a VeriChip, is a small radio transmitter about the size of a piece of rice that is injected under a person's skin. It transmits a unique personal ID number whenever it is within a few feet of a special receiver unit. VeriChip's maker describes it as "a miniaturized, implantable, radio frequency identification device (RFID) that can be used in a variety of security, emergency and healthcare applications."

Is the biochip the mark of the beast to be used by the antichrist? We can't really know. What is significant is that people are being softened to the idea of a mark or an implant as a means of maintaining security, providing medical information, and regulating a more interdependent world. As attitudes change, fears subside, and people are convinced of the need for such a mark, the true mark of the beast will be easily introduced to the world by the antichrist.

The United Nations, World Trade Organization, International Criminal Court, UN peacekeeping/police force, numerous UN NGO's, and other agencies are preliminary steps to the formation of a one world government. We now have the communications technology, transportation, and the pro-globalization media necessary to usher in the one world government headed by the antichrist. The increasing terrorist threat and the middle east conflict will only speed up the formation of this governing body as fear and promises of better security make more people willing to give up their national sovereignty for global governance.

Revelation 11:3, 7-10 "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophecy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth."

Television and the 24-hour news networks make it possible for people around the world to see the dead prophets and rejoice at their deaths.

Luke 21:28 "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Luke 21:32 "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place."

The Next Four Years And Beyond

The past few months have been a "quiet" time for me. I "saw" and "heard" things, but they were not yet to be related openly. Also, some of the rest of what I was hearing was already being spoken about by others, so there was no need to send out the "Joni version!"

The other thing that was going on is that the Lord was doing a work in me, and had me in a time of "sabbatical" from writing and sending out words for awhile, as well as a time of introspection and change. - " However, the "quiet" season has seemingly come to an end, and I'm in a season when many dreams and other prophetic downloads have been unloaded in my direction. I believe they have to do with the next four years. Therefore, I submit some of them to you below:

Dream Re: The Next Four Years

This dream came to me in very a strong way. Even while receiving it, the thought came to me, "This dream is coming to me in much the way Daniel's came to him."

In the dream, I saw a man running in my direction through an open field, who then jumped forward towards me through a bush that separated the field from the area I was standing in. He then stopped and bent over and put his hands around his ankles, seemingly in a runner's pose, to catch his breath.

My attention was quickly drawn from him to what was now coming across the field behind him. Suddenly, a tremendous crowd of people were stampeding towards us, with a huge fire devouring behind them. I almost screamed to the man to "LOOK!" - but just as they got to the bush, they stopped.

Through the bush then began stepping a series of four animals. I knew in my spirit that each of them was one year old, perfectly formed, healthy, beautiful and that each represented a one year period that we were going to experience. First came a leopard, then a deer, a cow, and finally, a pony. However, I had no idea what they represented. All I originally got was "a leopard doesn't change it's spots." I also had a knowing in my spirit that what I saw represented the next four years, now that Bush has finished the race and won.

In the end of the dream, children were happily riding ponies all over the open field.

Interpretation

The dream was (and is) as vivid as it was when I had it. It stuck with me so strongly that I finally called a trusted prophetic friend, Bob Jones about it. The following was the interpretation:

BOB JONES: What you saw represented the next four years, now that Bush has finished the race and won.

JONI: Yes, that's what I felt. But I don't know what each animal represented.

BOB JONES: Well, a leopard doesn't change it's spots.

JONI: Yes, I got that, but what does that mean?

BOB JONES: Well, here in the next year, there's going to [be] a time of decision for the ones that seemingly haven't made very much progress towards proper change - like the leopard that doesn't change its' spots. It's time to seek who will be served. A year in the valley of decision or commitment. A call to repentance. A time for those in the occult to seek righteousness.

But then, the next year, the deer, well, that shows that we don't need to be discouraged, because they WILL come around, and they will have hinds feet to soar on high places.

Then, the cow, well, that's the sacrifice. And that speaks of offering up to the Lord what is His. The sacrifice of righteousness and praise.

And finally, the pony - like the donkey that Jesus rode on - Jesus will come on in, riding in the saddles of the youth's minds, and then there will be great celebration. The youth are going to come into their place, for you saw them riding all over the field and enjoying themselves.

JONI AMES: With that understanding, I then felt that this referred also to those in government that haven't quite decided to follow what God put them there for, and that they will eventually make it through their struggles and go on to do what He called them to. I was reminded of what Proverbs 29:2 says, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan."

Additionally, I felt that the children riding in the field represented a turn in the abortion laws to protect the children, and allow the called ones to be birthed and come forth to ride with the Lord in their callings.

Earthquakes

One evening as I stood at my sink, it seemed that suddenly everything was shaking, and I heard, "Beware of earthquakes this coming year. Pray for the protection of the lives of those where they occur."

Emergency Broadcast System

Several times recently, I have heard what sounded like an emergency broadcast siren, and have seen "flashes" of explosions, people running, and have heard the excited voices of news media members who are covering the activities crying, "The United States is under attack! Get to a place of safety! We are truly a nation at war!"

I also heard the "buzzer" that sounds over a radio or TV station when a weather warning is released, and felt that there will additionally be atmospheric emergencies this coming year as well, and that we need to be prepared to respond in the safest way possible. Often the Lord gives warning so that His People will move to safety before His Judgment falls. - Such as with Lot and his wife. If He calls you to do that, don't look back. It sure didn't help Lot's wife to do so.

I also sensed that the "weather warning siren" warns us of stormy times to come economically, and that there is a call to "downsize, simplify, and be wise" in the area of finances.

Change In Office Of Vice President

I had an open vision while in church in the Spring of last year that there was a change in the vice presidential office while Bush is president. I dreamed Pres. Bush was having a press conference to announce it. I don't know if this in the natural (although I lean towards that), or if there is great change coming into the life of our vice president. However, I encourage all to pray for him regarding the heart problems he has had, and that he would either be totally healed, or able to withstand the pressure of his office, or would be wise enough to resign so as to extend his life by eliminating the stress and pressure that his office holds if it would do damage to him. Also, pray that if he leaves that office before the end of his term, the person who the Lord chooses to stand in that office, if vacated, would be in proper position to do so before any of these things take place.

Women Leaders

The Lord has been showing me that this is truly a time when women will be coming to the forefront as leaders in our nation. Expect to see it be the case more and more where politics, ministries, business entrepreneurs and office board rooms are concerned.

Increased Technologies

The increased technologies that are coming in this time and season will be both interesting and frightening. Even to technologies to develop weather pattern changes.

Beyond And Into 2012

I felt that it is imperative that we each purpose even more to begin to fulfil their callings and purpose between now and 2012, for the enemy will be fighting hard to even bring atomic disaster. Interesting developments towards 2012. Very important to begin now to bring in the harvest.

Pray For The Media

Pray for the news media. They need wisdom and direction as some of what is about to come takes place. And most importantly, more of them need Jesus, for some of them won't be able to handle some of what they are about to see without Him. But additionally, many of them are in place, "For such a time as this," to record HIS-story as Biblical Prophecy unfolds before our very eyes.

Prayer

Lord, we come before you and pray for your love to surround, protect and guide us in these times. We repent and turn from our ways and re-commit ourselves afresh to you and YOUR ways, Lord. We know that the Inner Court is the only safe place to be in these times, and ask that you show us the way in and help us learn how to stay there, beneath the shelter of your arms. We call in our loved ones and call forth for each of us to walk in the purposes for which you created us and paid for it with the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. Let us walk worthy of our callings in you and not be distracted so that we may be used to bring in the harvest. We also cry out for healing miracles this year, Lord. Our lives and times are truly in Your Hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Generation Ends
01/01/05

On March 28, 1964, the largest quake ever recorded in US history occurred in Prince William Sound, Alaska. This 9.2 quake started a 40-year countdown to the next great 9.0 quake which would occur in Sumatra on December 26, 2004. Had the epicenter of the 1964 quake been in the open ocean instead of being shielded within the sound, tsunami would have devastated not only America, but Asia and the entire Pacific Rim. Tidal waves in Alaska were recorded as high as 67 meters (over 200 feet), in comparison to South Asia’s recent 33 foot tsunami. If this Alaskan quake had occurred just a few miles to the west, outside the sound, most of the coastline of the United States would have suffered catastrophic flooding as massive tidal waves beat against the shores; but instead of hundreds of thousands of casualties, only 125 people lost their lives in 1964.

It was only through God’s grace that America was shielded during the beginning of this generation of seismic restraint and intervention from major judgments. The timing of the Prince William Sound quake was a prophetic parable, not meant to be understood until the closing of Christmas, 2004, when the second 9.0 quake in 40 years would shake the globe.

Now let’s look ahead to 1999, and hear the sound of accelerated warnings, echoes of storm clouds gathering on the horizon. In September, 1999, we published a vision of a great seismic judgment in California, an earthquake so large that new bodies of water were created inland from tsunami, causing freeways to end abruptly into newborn lakes.

After publishing the vision in September, and publicly announcing that I would be arriving in Los Angeles from the Philippines on October 16, 1999 to intercede with other Christians in the area for California, a large 7.2 quake shook Southern California only seven hours after my plane arrived at the LAX, the strongest quake I have ever personally experienced. I could literally see waves rippling across the earth in the middle of the desert, as if I was standing in the sea. Little damage was done by the 7.2 quake; there were no new lakes, no collapsed buildings, and only limited structural damage near the epicenter in Joshua Tree, California. As in 1964, God intervened in the magnitude and epicenter of this quake.

Now let’s take a look at 2002, as waves of warning ripple to Alaska. At the beginning of 2002, we began to receive a series of visions and prophetic words concerning an approaching great quake in Alaska, a quake exceeding 9.0 which would cause massive damage along the US West Coast. We issued a warning that a great Alaskan quake would occur prior to the end of 2002. As the end of 2002 approached, on November 2 a large 7.4 quake shook Northern Sumatra, followed within less than 24 hours by a great 7.9 Alaskan quake along the Denali Fault Line on November 3. The epicenter was an isolated national park north of Prince Edward Sound, thus, the quake did very little damage. As in 1964 and 1999, God intervened and angelically shielded the nation.

Now let’s move forward to 2004, and look at the great Sumatran quake, also known as the “Christmas quake”. Just as Christmas symbolizes Christ’s first coming, so this 9.0 quake symbolizes his second coming.

On 11/11/04, shortly after Arafat was pronounced dead in France, I received a vision of a great earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia (full account published in our 11/11/04 report, prior to the Sumatra quake).

Summary of vision: I was taken in the Spirit to a high mountain in Indonesia, and began to prophecy to a predominately Christian village that God’s judgment was about to fall on their nation. But instead of heeding the prophetic word and preparing, they began to mock the word of the Lord, just as many US Christians mocked the word in 1999 and 2002.

But as they were mocking, the ground began to shake and a small ripple in the ocean appeared, creating a small wave. They jeeringly said, “Is this all?!” But because they mocked God’s grace in lessening the magnitude of the first quake, a larger quake shook the island, and a tidal wave appeared so big that as it struck the hills a thunderous splash rose into the air, perhaps a thousand feet high (this would take approximately a 200 foot wave, whereas during storms in the Philippines I have witnessed 10 foot waves striking concrete breakers, resulting in 50 foot splashes, or roughly 5-times the height of the wave).

Within less than 24-hours after the tsunami vision, a 7.5 quake shook Indonesia, and tsunami warnings began to laxly circulate like rumors along the Sumatran coast. Then, within less than an hour a 6-inch tsunami gently lapped against the shore. It is reported that among the handful of people who actually heard the tsunami warning, many of them were angry with officials for releasing the advisory because they had to 'inconveniently' leave their homes and shops.

But on December 26, no tsunami alerts were issued after a 9.0 quake sent a three-story wall of water rippling across the Indian Ocean. Although God in his mercy decreased the size of the tsunami from 200 feet (such as Alaska 1964) to 33 feet, we were warned that greater waves are still coming unless there is repentance. We have been prophetically warned that some of the future quakes could reach as high as 9.7 in Indonesia, Polynesia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. A great area of concern is the Pacific between New Zealand, Polynesia and the Antarctic, where I recently had a vision of a great tsunami which dwarfed anything mankind has ever seen, outside of the great flood.

It is not a coincidence that an 8.1 quake shook Macquarie Island three days prior to the 9.0 Sumatra quake. Mark this area, for it needs much prayer. As a matter of fact, I feel strongly directed to take an intercessory team from New Zealand in the Spring to pray for this part of the world, it is really that urgent.

If you are an intercessor and feel like you are supposed to be a part of this prayer team, or would to support this intercessory mission to the South Pacific, please contact me as soon as possible. Do not underestimate the power of prayer, which can calm the seas and turn 500 foot tsunami into gentle 5 inch waves.

From 1999 to 2004, if you closely examine the progression and pattern of the above earthquakes, you will notice a sobering warning to the United States. Note that in 2002, the large 7.4 Northern Sumatra quake was almost immediately followed by a great Alaska quake. These quakes during 1964, 1999 and 2002 were only types and shadows of greater events yet to come. Although everything prophesied shall come to pass, nations can still be shielded, magnitudes and epicenters can be altered, and lives can be saved if we examine the fabric of what is actually being said by heaven, and act upon the directives of the Holy Spirit in humility, repentance and lightning obedience.

Across the globe on New Year’s Eve, it is reported that most celebrations were replaced with prayer vigils following the great Asian quake, and even the secular media reported the quake as being an event of “biblical proportions”. On the first day of 2005, President Bush ordered flags to be lowered at half mass across the United States. As eyes around the world are lifted up towards heaven in search of assistance and answers, we pray that this will be the beginning of repentance and revival in many nations.

There are many types of ‘generations’, and within this report we have dealt chiefly with one of them: a generation of seismic warnings and restraint from 1964 to 2004. But there is another type of generation; a generation which will end 40 years after Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were restored to Israel in 1967. Between now and 2007, many changes are going to take place across the earth; internationally, politically, geologically; entire maps are going to change in some parts of the world, unless there is repentance and orchestrated prayer for some of these geological hot spots which are simmering and ready to erupt.

Just as the great Alaskan quake in 2002 was preceded by a large Sumatran quake, we have been forewarned that another great Alaska quake is approaching. The 2002 quake along the Denali Fault was only a foreshadow of a larger one to come, and the 1999 Joshua Tree quake was just a fire-drill of something greater ahead. Yet, within all of these warnings is hope; faith can move mountains, turn the floods into dry land and turn rivers of lava into fountains of life. The hand of God can turn back the tide of approaching judgment, calm the waves, and shield entire nations if we honor him, humble ourselves, repent, seek his face, and turn from our wicked ways while there is yet still time (II Chronicles 7:14).

Two dead, visit heaven, come back to life!

Below are two amazing incidents that have been reported to me in the past few days of a man and then a woman dying, visiting heaven, then returning.

In the first incident, a man met Jesus and received an end-time message to tell upon his return. The second message also has a profound end-time meaning .

Incident # 1. I received this in the mail from Jim P.

In April, 1989 my father was sick with cancer (smoking cigarettes). He was really bad off. The doctors said he only had a couple of months to live and he would have to stay in the hospital.

In July, 1989 he was pronounced dead, but then he mysteriously came back to life. The doctors could not explain why or how his amazing recovery led him to feel well enough to leave the hospital. I remember talking with my father and he told me that he went on an amazing journey. He told me that he had personally met the Lord. He told me of a tunnel of light that he was going through, and when he got to the end of it he saw the most beautiful light in the world. That light was so bright, but it didn't hurt his eyes. At this point the Lord spoke to him and said, "Your work on earth is not yet done. Go and tell everyone that the end is near and I am coming soon." It was at this point that my father came back to life. He was released from the hospital and started out by going to our church and telling everyone of his mission. He then traveled to other churches to tell the Lord's message. On June 26, 1990, my father passed on. And I know without a doubt, by the look in his eyes when he told me he had met the Lord, it was true....

I hope this story will remind you never to give up in what we both believe in...

Incident # 2. I received this in an e-mail from Ann W.

I friend of mine, named _____ , is a prayer warrior and powerful intercessor. On June 10, 1994 this Panamanian woman was pronounced dead from complications of metastatic pancreatic cancer, and was transferred to the morgue at the West Florida Medical center in Pensacola. Five hours later a nurse found her moving and mumbling; she was then transferred back to the ICU. Her testimony is a fascinating account of things in hell and heaven that was shown to her by angels (she never saw Jesus). She saw crystal mansions, robes and crowns being made by angels for the saints, and also saw a valley of white horses for the saints' return with Jesus to claim the earth. She saw another valley of "spotted" horses which she said are reserved for the prophets. The angels performed an "operation" of sorts on her, and when she came to life she was healed. (As a friend and physician,
I have her medical records and CT scans in my possession and am helping her to write her story as her English is poor).

I share that to give you some of her background. This woman is so close to Jesus, that during periods of extensive fasting she actually speaks with him face-to-face. She has asked him many questions such as the reason why people have that little "compression" in the skin directly over the upper lip. Jesus told her that when he made Adam out of clay, before the breath of life was breathed into him, he pressed his finger over his mouth as if to tell him "hush" like a "forewarning" for him to control his mouth. Her testimonies are nothing short of a wonder to hear.

Last week, ____ dreamed that Jesus was in the sky, enveloped in a cloud around his waist. His hands were stretched open, and he was looking to-and-fro over the earth searching for his saints. She saw saints in white gowns in the air, but more notable she said were the people on the ground.
She said many, many more people were on the ground than in the air, and they were naked. Old men and women, middle aged men and women, boys and girls, all naked, were crying out to Jesus to take them. But Jesus paid them no heed and kept looking back and forth for his saints who donned their white robes. When I heard the dream I said, "____, that is the harvest (the first resurrection/rapture)!" She responded, "Yes; that's what my pastor said." I asked her if she knew why the people were naked, and she replied she did not. I then showed her these two passages of scriptures, which she received with delight:

"Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked" (2 Cor. 5:3).

"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed" (Revelation 16:15).

And so, without doubt, this was more than a "dream." Since our wedding clothes represent the "RIGHTEOUS ACTS of the saints," let's take heed every moment to be faithful to the call and watch for the signs of his return. Let's be diligent to feed the poor, shelter the homeless, preach the gospel, cast out demons, heal the sick, disciple the nations, and so not be found naked upon his return! In the words of Paul, let us "clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 13:14) and as Job so eloquently spoke, "Put on righteousness as our clothing, justice as our robe and turban, be eyes to the blind and feet to the lame, be a father to the needy, take up the case of the stranger, break the fangs of the wicked and snatch the victims from their teeth (29:14-17).

Righteous acts do not "save" us; but they do make heavenly wedding gowns.

NOTE: In incident # 1 above, if God said, "The end is near" in 1989," it may not seem like "near" to us now 11 years later. However, God's sense of timing is not like ours. Also, I have reason to believe that 1988-1989 was a pivotal, watershed period on God's end-time calendar. The man's father gave his message for about one year, passing on in 1990, the first year of an amazing decade of end-time events, including the Oslo Accords and later other agreements between Israel and the PLO, which now seem all dead. It was ten years later, in September 2000, that CNN headlines blared, "The battle for Jerusalem has begun," on Tishri 1, exactly seven years to the day after Oslo was ratified by the Knesset. If the end was "near" in 1989, it is much near-er now!

Out of His great love, God is mercifully dealing with the Muslim people in supernatural and irresistible ways, no doubt because they are in such religious and cultural bondage. There have been many documented cases of Jesus personally appearing to Muslims, identifying Himself, and telling them they must believe. For example, He appeared to an entire classroom of Muslim students on the Arabian peninsula, and I have personally met two Iranian girls, now Christian missionaries in their own country, whose mother had this happen to her.

Because of these verified instances, I give special credence to and take especially seriously the story below.

Last night I spoke with a former Shiite Muslim from Iran who had this experience. For security purposes, I will call him Mohammed. He was living on the West coast of the United States. One day in 1988, he had a night vision, or dream, and Jesus appeared to him. Evidence of this reality is that the man was miraculously converted to Christ and has been a Spirit-filled Christian ever since.

Just a few months later, Mohammed had another vivid night vision, this time about the pre-tribulation rapture. The Lord actually allowed him to experience the rapture and showed him in what city he would be living in when it happened and who he would be with at the time. (The dramatic reality of the first vision gives credence to the reality of the second.)

In the vision the rapture happened in a certain Midwestern city that I will not name. He was with his Muslim uncle, who was left behind in tears, because the uncle suddenly realized that everything Mohammed had told him was true, and the tribulation was about to start.

Mohammed waited, not understanding how this would all happen. But two years later he surprisingly got a telephone call from this uncle who asked him to move to that same Midwestern city and manage his store! He did, and he is there now in that city where it was shown that he will be raptured.

Mohammed told me last night that in the rapture vision he and his uncle appeared to be the same age as they are right now. Mohammed is very knowledgeable of the Bible and is, in fact, a teacher. For the above and mostly biblical reasons, he believes the rapture is absolutely imminent, although he will not speculate exactly when. He is also saddened that so few pastors are talking and teaching about it, leaving most flocks in the dark.

This is just one more evidence among many that Jesus is coming very, very soon!

A friend reported to me this astonishing testimony she heard on television by Bible teacher Billye Brim, on December 28, 2000. Billye Brim is an outstanding woman of God and teacher. She is a friend of Barbara Richmond, and the two have ministered together.

The following happened in the lives of people whom Billye knows personally - Steve and Rhonda Warren.

Rhonda's cousin, in his 20s, developed a brain tumor. His family and friends prayed earnestly for his healing. At first his condition improved a little, then his condition grew worse and finally, on artificial life support, he died. The doctor confirmed that he was dead.

The doctors approached the young man's parents and asked if they would donate his organs for transplants, to save other people's lives. The parents said, "We can't answer that. That is totally opposite to what we were praying for."

The doctor reiterated the great need for organs for transplants. The parents said, "Let us go home and pray about it."

The parents went home and prayed. Meanwhile, the hospital put the young man's body in cold storage to keep his temperature very, very low to preserve the organs.

After three days of praying, the parents returned to the hospital and said to the doctor, "We have prayed about it, and we are finally willing to let you have your request, BUT…" the mother said, "I just have to kiss him one more time, before you take the organs. And I can't kiss him when he is so cold. Can you warm him up?"

The hospital staff warmed up the young man's body. When his mother kissed him, his eyes suddenly fluttered open, and he grabbed his father's hand and squeezed it!

The parents learned that while the young man was clinically dead, his spirit went to heaven. He saw his sister there. She had been young when she died, and she was now grown up. He then was introduced to his older sister, now in heaven, a sister he did not even know he had. He did not know that his mother had previously had a miscarriage. The baby is now in heaven, fully grown!

The young man saw the Lord Jesus, and Jesus said to him, "You go back and tell people that I am coming very, very soon."

The young man said to the Master, "They know that."

Jesus quickly replied, "No, they don't know that. You go and tell them I am coming VERY, very soon."
