AUSTRIAN SEMINARY SHUT DOWN FOR PROBE
Associated Press ^ | 12 August 2004 | Editors

VIENNA, Austria Aug. 12, 2004 — A papal emissary on Thursday shut down an Austrian seminary where authorities reported finding about 40,000 photos and numerous videos, including child pornography, on computers.

Other photographs of seminary students kissing and fondling each other and their older religious instructors at the seminary also were found in the diocese of St. Poelten, about 50 miles west of Vienna.

Some of the photos were published in Austrian media and triggered a public uproar that prompted Pope John Paul II to dispatch Bishop Klaus Kueng as an "apostolic visitor" to contain the scandal.

Once again the pathetic Vatican blather decrying Satanic sexual debauchery within Church institutions - dedicated, at one time, to producing holy priests - is nothing more than the usual transparent whitewash of evil Karol Wojtyla perpetuates and facilitates through his catastrophic, and repeated refusal to confront.

Here, as in prior carbon-copy examples, Wojtyla substitutes excommunication and discipline with meaningless actions alluding to a concern and anguish. In truth his has been a shameful history of denial of the pervasive evil plaguing His Church throughout the world.

Before undertaking another wasteful mass gathering abomination on this planet, Wojtyla MUST do what his predecessors had no problem doing before him - defend The One True Church from falling into the clutches of Satan!!!

He must follow in the footsteps of Our Savior - drive out the sexual evil from within the Sacred walls of His Church!!!

To act otherwise would be to scorn and challenge the presence of God Almighty in every Roman Catholic Church throughout the world. The Holy Trinity is providing Wojtyla yet another chance to right his grievous wrongs; to do good in this life. Will he take it? IMHO, no. I have long believed that Wojtyla is determined to do all that he can to shame and destroy His Church. To date, he has only re-affirms my opinion of his failed tenure.

It's been said responsibility will either make or break a man. So much opportunity, so many wrongs. I will pray for the redemption of the man who calls himself Pope John Paul II. There is still so much good he can do.

Heavenly Father, please send us holy priests.

Saint Pius X, pray for us.

An unfortunately phrased title all things considered :-/

Too bad the Vatican waited to act until the scandal became public.

SOP for this pope. DO nothing, say nothing - unless the faithful get wind of it. Release a news bulletin to CYA, and then return to the do nothing, say nothing mode.

evil Karol Wojtyla

See, before I might have actually listened to your arguement with an open mind. But anyone who calls a man who suffers as JP2 suffers "evil" must have an agenda all his own.

Reading sordid stories like this can make one physically ill. The worst part is that it's happening in institutions where we're supposed to be training our future clergy. How scary is that?

**evil Karol Wojtyla**

Robert, why do you insist on demeaning the Pope in such a manner in #1? This is hardly Christian action..........

Remember the Commandment "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."?

Salvation, I am quite surprised to find you of all FReepers taking words out of context to frame your argument.....and you dare take this whole cloth fabrication to the Religion Mod.

To top it off, you boldly assert, "Remember the Commandment "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."? To which I must ask you to tell me when that idiom became a part of the Ten Commandments?

It would seem your confusion about the content of The Ten Commandments is not dissimilar to your confusion about the content of my opinion as well. I will leave it to you to ponder psychology of your actions.

I wrote about the "....transparent whitewash of evil Karol Wojtyla perpetuates"

You, improperly and unfairly, confined your out-of-context quote to "....evil Karol Wojtyla....".

It is a fact that nothing has changed in the United States relative to the people who review and test candidates for seminary training, and it's been, obviously, business as usual within Roman Catholic seminaries throughout the world.

Yes, Karol Wojtyla did publicly wring his hands about the state of wholesale degeneracy within His Church, and as I remember he issued a proclamation ( all gum - no teeth, IMO ) through which he admonished those responsible for overseeing seminaries to correct themselves. As in the instant case, he may have even sent an "apostolic visitor". However, the usual suspects remain in control, and no final report has been presented to him. IMO, he knows it.

......and you know it, or so you should.

I purposely inserted the last sentence in the snippet above to allow all who are concerned about the moral corruption of the Roman Catholic Church to read that it took a public outcry about the sexual sickness within the seminary before Wojtyla chose to give the appearance of acting to drive out a Satanic evil directed at young men called by God Almighty to prepare for the Blessed Sacrament of Holy Orders to lead a life of holy priests.

May God cause the evil doers to be driven from those hallowed grounds, and may his judgment of them be swift and merciful.

St. Pius X, pray for us.
