The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.

Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams

Them's the facts as I know 'em, though I'm always happy to be further enlightened.

Probably that you haven't cultivated many posting relationships with non-calvinists. Plenty here have received suspensions. And I've read THAT post more than once from the other "teams".

If it was up to men to choose how would God know how big to build the ark?

Um...I'm gonna go with "foreknowledge" for 1000, Alex.

Well, if we're banned, we're pretty quiet. All the more reason for working on our communication skills. 8~)

Sincere thanks for your post.

That thought has occurred to me, esp after the mod was pinged below my post about not pinging them here.

You need to go back and read the thread cindy it was malakhi that pinged the mod...and if you have noticed the only ones affected were 3 Calvinists...so we are not the villains here

Our Lord Jesus wanted to experience the temptations of man Himself before He preached to others. In other words, He practiced what He preached.

If you note the 2nd Adam had the same temptations put before Him as the 1st Adam did.

Lust of the eyes , lust of the flesh and the pride of life..unlike the 1st Adam the 2nd overcame

What's the matter with you? Do you want to be here or not? I can't make you but I wish you would come in or take your black cloud and go play elsewhere.

Never mind that they're fairly ignorant of what goes on here.
Actually, is has occurred to me that there may be another reason to try to get the thread shutdown.
I cued the mod's in on this very possibility last night.

.See Cindy , it was not the Calvinists ..your own folks did it ...are you scared of us Quester?

They (the mod's) appear to be keeping a watchful eye over the thread now.

Just what Cindy was complaining about.

I remember JR wanted to shut this thread down at least 2 times and both times I was FRmailed and ask to join in trying to post with all the others to change JR's mind, and I did

I think there is some humor in the big "conspiracy theory " where some of the regulars blame the Calvinists for calling in the mods to shut down the thread ...and it ends up your own folks called them in

I get the feeling the right hand does not know what the left is doing .

He is the only individual in the history of the world who could speak for God.

Moses did not speak for God? Isaiah? Daniel? Jonah? Samuel? Elijah?

Why would you think the Son of God should not be honored?

In what way was He the "Son" of God? What was the nature of that relationship?

CD, I actually there is another (hidden) motive behind this.

The Gospel clearly delivered without compromise or discussions of shopping or horses is the only agenda and that has never been hidden .

The Mods were pinged last night by someone OTHER than a Calvinist, and as a result, three Calvinists were banned on Easter morning.

Doc we know that God is sovereign over all things , it is especially sweet when those that think they insult , really bless

Luk 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and shall reproach [you], and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man
