AN DIEGO (AP) -- Gubernatorial front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger acknowledged that he has "behaved badly" to women and offered an apology Thursday.
Schwarzenegger's remarks, as he kicked off a four-day bus tour of the state in the final days of the recall campaign, came after a Los Angeles Times story published Thursday in which six women accused him of sexually harassing and groping them.

What sexual assault? I did not hear him say exactly what he did? Do you know something we don't?
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
Still begs the question. What exactly did he do? Since you asked:
And these photos were taken when he knew the cameras were around...

Did our ex rapist in chief ever admit to groping Kathleen Wiley?

Schwarzenegger is handling it quite a bit differently than the patented Clinton strategy:
1. Lie
2. Deny
3. Demonize

>>> Sounds like it was a great rally. Did you take any pictures?<<<
Unfortunately, no.
Had to rush out of the house early... camera had no film.
Couldn't have gotten many good shots anyways...
my less-than-5-foot vertically challenged frame
could :::barely::: squeak a peek as it was!
At the end, the blue curtain behind him parted, and there was....his tour bus! He stood on the step waving as it circled the convention center room, and exited
right out onto the street.
Rick Roberts had promised us a surprise...it was
pretty theatrical, but effective. That's why everyone left
smiling.
The news reports on the drive home were full of Arnold's apology, but actually being there and hearing
it in person, and getting the feel from him and from the the crowd meant a great deal.
I have to add that Arnold supporters come in all stripes, shapes, sizes, colors and ages and it was a sight to behold.

I get it, women did it to him, so that makes it AOK for him to do it to anyone he chooses.
I don't recall anyone branding him a pervert, just that his behavior was inappropriate. There is a difference. And with one of the allegations being in 2000, seems like he should know better, doncha think?

Again today, the feminazi advised me of Tom's outstanding character and how I should be supporting him, not Arnold, and the socialists I work with ridiculed me for fawning upon a celebrity, and belittling my fears of any demoncrap as hysteria. Socialists and the Christian far right in bed together, who'd a thunk it?

I did not hear him say exactly what he did? You'll hear things a lot more clearly without your fingers stuck in your ears, dear.

"For what, exactly, did he apologize?" Maybe you have exclusive knowledge. I heard (paraphrased)"bad behavior that he thought was playful at the time". That's what I heard. How about you?

>>>Yep you really make a lot of sense.... RINOI always make sense. You've forgotten what that this is a conservative website and you centrists, aka. RINO's, don't belong here. You whine and complain about Tom Mcclintock, ridicule his conservative politics and his conservative supporters at every turn and then you have the audacity to misuse the term RINO and castigate me for speaking the truth.
You're a loser of the highest magnitude and a gutter trashtalker with no conscience whatsoever.
You need to form your own website and let us conservatives have FreeRepublic to debate, discuss and converse about conservative politics. Not the wishy washy politics you centrists adhere to and believe in.

"As for treating women like trash, there are many posters on this very site, male and female alike, who are less than charitable towards women."What does that have to do with Arnold? Would you call his tendency to gangbang and grope "uncharitable" behavior towards women??

There is no such thing as an ex rapist, an ex pedophile or an ex murderer.

My friend in La Crescenta, Adam, got his car tax statement today. It's tripledThis election is a pocketbook election. It's not about abortion. It's not about Grayout's dirty tricks. It's not about Arnold's stance on guns. It's about money. Period.
As usual, Number 6 gets it.

Just so you know.......I really have no interest in responding to your comments, so you might want to save your effort for someone else
That's fine.

Maybe you have exclusive knowledge. I heard (paraphrased)"bad behavior that he thought was playful at the time". That's what I heard. How about you? What does "bad, playful behavior" mean, exactly? Is grabbing a women's butt playful? He may have thought so at the time. Some people think it's fun to this day. Is trying to take off a woman's swimsuit playful? Hey, sounds like fun, no?
The question is, what *didn't* he admit. He needs to point out which incidents in the story were false.
