AN DIEGO (AP) -- Gubernatorial front-runner Arnold Schwarzenegger acknowledged that he has "behaved badly" to women and offered an apology Thursday.
Schwarzenegger's remarks, as he kicked off a four-day bus tour of the state in the final days of the recall campaign, came after a Los Angeles Times story published Thursday in which six women accused him of sexually harassing and groping them.

Is FR preschool or can we all be grown upThat's what I'm suggesting. Let's discuss it like grown ups, not having tantrums and calling people names. Here's your post to Reagan man (#161), I think you need to take your own advice.
You packed a lot of things in that post to me and very little of it remotely applies to what I said. I think you might need to get a hold of your emotions.
If and when you want to be civil again, give me a ping.

No but I have a strong interest in making sure a left turn in the GOP doesn't spread from the West Coast to my state thanks to elitists at the top running interference.

Clinton was a traitor. Arnie was ashamed and embarrassed that neo-puritans placed more emphasis on evil sex than they paid to his selling out of his country. I agree with Arnold! People with petty fixations of the sexual nature embarrass themselves.

What exactly did he do?He had some frat house fun. And now he's going to pay for it, big time.
To: republicanwizard
Based on Bill Clinton's record with the left coast, this should help Arnold with all the RATS.

I'm not at all surprised that you don't understand the difference between speaking one's mind with a willingness to take whatever is hurled back and whining like a little baby after being called on for cutsie sarcasm. Remember what I said about the real world. Try it sometime.
Read post #161.

What did he do? In the real world, we call it "sexual assault", dear.

Tom McClintock is a sleazebag, and under no circumstances, will I, or any other decent Republican, support an extremist egotist who thinks himself the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Can Babraba Boxer count on your vote if Toms runs against her in the future?

Just so you know.......
I really have no interest in responding to your comments, so you might want to save your effort for someone else.
To: Lijahsbubbe
A double standard is being employed by an Arnold supporter?
I'm shocked!

Still begs the question. What exactly did he do? Nobody knows. He wasn't specific. That's the problem. Everybody may be thinking the worst. Even if he only made two off-color remarks in a woman's presense in his whole life, he basically copped to the possibility that he tried to rip off a woman's bathing suit, and grabbed a woman's rear end.
He should rebut, pricesely, what is inaccurate in the article. If anything is false. Otherwise most people will take it to be true in it's entirety.
Or he could have just said "no comment" and likely have been voted in on Tuesday by a landslide.
He gave the article credibility, he opened the can of worms, he has to deal with it now.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
Still begs the question. What exactly did he do?
Also begs the same question, phrased differently... "For what, exactly, did he apologize?"

Unless and until a woman wants to step up in public and give a credible account that convinces me he is some kind of sexually harassing brute, I'll remain skeptical.
Two of the women in the LA Times piece identified themselves...
