This is disgraceful. The man said something politically incorrect (not racist) about football and now the media is out to destroy him. The Left persecutes anybody who stands up to them. Where was the wiretap of Mahrer after he said that our soldiers were cowards (right after 9-11). Old Bill is a major advocate of drug legalization (I wonder if he does illegal drugs) and is in his fifties and never married (are those trips to the Playboy mansion a cover?) Nobody put a wire on one of his maids--this is astounding!

If ESPN fires Rush over the McNabb remarks, they better fire the show's producer, because IIRC they knew in advance what he would be discussing on the show.

Of course if the rumors about the pills are true, they might use that as a copout excuse.

The timing of this is interesting also because Limbaugh said yesterday that he won't be on the air tomorrow because of some event. He will be back on Friday, which will give his detractors a whole day to play this story without fear of Limbaugh's rebuttal tomorrow on his show.

This is SERIES! There could be a coup in the works. What if Rush returned to the EIB studion and it was taken over by Al Franken?

If this story is as it is being portrayed in the rumors(which I am far from accepting until we see an actual story), I wonder if a REAL journalist will compare what Rush is accused of taking daily with the drugs that JFK took daily.
