A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Thank you to all our Hall of Famers and to all of you who have become part of our Finest Family ... as regular contributors and supporters who drop in every day to say hello and give a 'pat on the back' to the "Freeper of the Day" and the hostesses. We wouldn't be here without you. : )
We're into our second year now, and we're still having fun. We hope you are. As promised, for your information and perusal, here is our fifth "Hall of Fame" - a list of all those who've held center stage ... from Monday, June 24, 2002 through Monday, September 29, 2003.
"Getting to Know You"
We're Here Because of You.

Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

How on earth were you able to be a treasure keeper????
You moved more than I did! We had to move ourselves (costs and all)....I was not able to be a treasure keeper.

Hi, Victoria - thank you so much. Hope you'll want to bookmark it for reference - there have been so many wonderful threads, created by so many wonderful FReepers, and
about so many wonderful FReepers. :) We're not doing many profiles any more, but various FRiends may write an essay about something near and dear to their heart, or sometimes we just unashamedly KOFFEE KLATCH the whole time! LOL!
Am glad to see you here when I happened to check back in. :) Love all the beautiful graphics and poems you post at the P & P. :)

Still have a pair of cowboy boots, another pair of leather boots and blue suede clogs from my college days. I used to have a pair of cowboy boots that looked like this. :)

I'll NEVER forget the move I had to mostly handle myself. I was 7 months pregnant with Frankie. My husband Frank was sent to his new rotation back here in NJ before our house was sold in NC and before the new house was closed on in NJ. I had to pack everything and handle Amanda and Douglas myself. I was a high risk pregnancy too. I thought that time would never pass.
I was very touched to see how much we affected the people in NC during that rotation. I had 'neighbors and patients' coming out of the woodwork trying to do all they could during those three months Frank was in NJ and I had to get our stuff ready for the move.
