Look, just because you can not afford to join the country club does not mean you can spoil our plans. Drive your rusty old pickup down to the 7/11 and have a beer on us.

It's not 'gun control'. It's 'trust'.

If a poltician whose laws are backed by men with guns can not trust me with a firearm, I can not trust that person with power.

Please don't ridicule anyone for childish debate tactics when you come off with this type of response.

You two Johnny one-notes just don't realize that the end-all, be-all issue in this election is not gun-control

...or abortion...or cutting excessive government spending...or upholding the integrity of the family...or reducing regulations on business...or reviving natural resource industries...it's all about electing a "Republican!" Woo hoo!

Unfortunately, you can't shake sense into most of the Schwarzenegger fans here, as many of them are not terribly fond of gun rights to begin with.

Arnold is on record backing Brady, a .50 caliber ban, and supporting loading indicators in all pistols(almost a complete ban on the manufacturer of pistols today).

No crimes have been committeed EVER with a .50 caliber rifle($3500). If that's banned on virtue since it's a so called 'sniper rifle', most bolt action rifles also have to be banned since they are even more apt to be a 'sniper rifle'.

Anyone that backs a loading indicator(Davis just signed that) thinking that will stop 'accidents' is ignorant or crazy. I'm just waiting for little Tommy to see that and think the firearm is 'unloaded' when it fires. The first rule of guns is that they are always loaded. All this will really do is raise prices and ban a lot of guns that don't fit that 'safety' test.

And with the statements alone, can I trust him to Veto ANY anti-rights bill? About as much as I'd trust Davis, Cruz, or Bill Klinton. None whatsoever, and with Lockyear as AG there, he's even less trustworthy.

As a "former" Californian, I would think you would be happy enough just letting us wallow in our own politics. Things are bad enough here without you guys kicking sand in our faces.

Here is your New Age, feel good flower for your hair.

If anti-gun, pro-abort and big government is what you are looking for, then you have yourself a winner. I'll see you after his term in office is measured and recorded.

===

In other words he just joined to get campaign mileage out of it.

How come he didn't join in the past 20 years?

You couldn't come up with a single difference between Arnold (gun grabber #1) and Cruz (gun grabber #2).

No surprise there.

Feinstein and Schwarzenegger don't care. Neither do their respective groupies.

Drive your rusty old pickup down to the 7/11 and have a beer on us.

Make sure to give them only PBR and Milwaukee Light - we're saving the Heineken and Samuel Adams for Schwarzenegger's victory party.

Don't you think its hilarious that the Tombots are wetting their pants over a candidate who would probably get knocked back 15 feet into the fence from the recoil if he even TRIED to fire a .22 pistol?

The only candidate in the California gubernatorial race who won't run roughshod over the Second Amendment.

Oh really? And how exactly does a state governor have power above that of the Supreme Court?

Typical straw man from a McClintockBot.

California has a number of gun control laws more restrictive than federal law. Arnold and his groupies tend to be abysmally ignorant.

1. SCOTUS hasn't heard a 2A based case in 70+ years.

2. The governor has signature or veto power.

3. The Fed Judiciary has neither the power of force, nor will.
