President Bush was denounced as an 'evil f---' at a fundraiser this week for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry.
The event, held at Manhattan's Intrepid's Sea-Air-Space Museum Thursday night, featured a vulgarity laced performance by techno-rocker Moby, who invited Kerry onstage for a sing-along tribute to punk rock godfather Lou Reed.
As the duo perfomed Reed's classic "Walk on the Wild Side," Kerry "froze," according to the New York Daily News, when Moby reached one particularly obscene portion of the song.
Then, after the song ended, Moby denounced Bush to the crowd of Kerry-backers as "an evil f---," the News said.
It's not clear whether Sen. Kerry was still onstage when the techno-rocker used the obscenity in reference to Bush - or whether the one-time Democratic fronrunner even heard the outburst.
Though the incident reportedly took place four days ago, Sen. Kerry has had no comment on Moby's use of the "F"-word in reference to the President of the United States.

Difference between a democrat and a republican. The democrat will never condemn what another democrat says (unless he is running against him). Biden this day on Fox never condemned Kennedy's comments about the president but swished around the dance floor re: the statement.
Republicans on the other hand will say in public that they disagree with what another republican said or did.

This is nothing new from Kerry. In 1971 he headed a few "war protests" in his role as head of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW). Because they couldn't find enough combat veterans who would denounce the military and the other veterans, most of the "veterans" at the Washington Moratorium and at Jane Fonda's "Winter Soldier Investigation" in Detroit were not veterans at all, just odds and ends of the left.
The VVAW later became the VVAW-AI (Anti-Imperialist), an overtly Marxist organisation.
Those protests, with their phony veterans, featured the same kind of threadbare street theatre that we are now seeing in the Kerry campaign. In 1971, Kerry said stuff like "War Criminal Nixon is not President." Now we have a potty-mouthed musical nonentity doing it for him.

I believe Mr. Mather's exact words were:
And Moby? You can get stomped by Obie You thirty-six year old baldheaded fag, blow me You don't know me, you're too old, let go It's over, nobody listen to techno.
So true. So true.

As the duo perfomed Reed's classic "Walk on the Wild Side," Kerry "froze," according to the New York Daily News, when Moby reached one particularly obscene portion of the song. The subject matter is risque, but the language isn't technically "obscene". On the other hand, I can't imagine what dimwit considered this fitting for a political fundraiser:
Lou Reed
Transformer (1972)
Walk On The Wild Side
Holly came from Miami, Fla
Hitchhiked her way across the USA.
Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her leg and then he was she - she said:
Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
Candy came from out on the island,
In the backroom she was everybodys darling,
But she never lost her head
Even when she was given head - she said
Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
And the coloured girls go, doo dodoo
Little Joe never once gave it away,
Ev'rybody had to pay and pay.
A hustle here and a hustle there
New York city is no place where they said:
Hey Babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
Sugar plum fairy came and hit the streets
Looking for soul food and a place to eat
Went to the Apollo, you should have seen him go go go - they said:
Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
Jackie is just speeding away,
Thought she was James Dean for a day
Then I guess she had to crash,
Valium would have helped that bash - she said:
Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side,
Said hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
And the coloured girls go, doo dodoo
On the other hand, maybe it *is* oddly appropriate for a Democratic candidate these days...
And yes, Dire Straits covered this song as well.

It would be interesting to see what
this liberal commentator, lamenting the loss of" civil political debate" would say about that!

I was about to post that myself. Moby had a hit a few years back and is now doing whatever he can to stay in the spotlight. It would be sad... if it weren't so funny to watch these people make complete fools.
Hey, Moby -- we care who you're backing for president why exactly??

Boop, re: your # 29 post
If you are betting me that Kerry doesn't know who Moby is clinches the supposition that Kerry is stupid. Stupid enough to share a stage with anyone who might help draw a crowd or raise money. It's clear that's exactly what Kerry did.

There aren't enough words to describe my feelings about all of these leftists. They are destroying a fine and decent man by propaganda and the manipulation of the American people through the media.
We are in big trouble as a nation when the absolute lie that Bush lied has become the truth now as if there never was a question about it. That untruth has been repeated often enough, that is just accepted , even by some republicans who don't understand the power of suggestion the way the socialists do.
These evil people are going to retake this country again if we can't get this stopped somehow, and it will be difficult to do as they have the ear of the American electorate who mostly pay attention to mainstream media for about 30 minutes a night, long enough to hear that Bush lied, how many soldiers died today, and what a quagmire Iraq is, and how did we get there in the first place.
The propaganda is working freepers, judging by the polls and even people I meet in the streets. They all believe that Saddam is the good one, and Bush is the evil one now. God help us when and if the leftist terrorist appeasers gain power again. We are doomed then, as they will know how weak we are, and they will do with us as they please.

So what. Haven't these people gotten the news .......long ago?? Democrats / liberals / scum suckers can say or do anything they want and get a pass in the media. If a Republican or other conservative had said the same about a Democrat...........
To: ladyinred
Have faith.
There is the speech tomorrow night and a whole year to go.
To: Carl/NewsMax
Ironically, it may be one of the nicest things any left-winger has said about Bush in a while.
Which is telling.
To: Carl/NewsMax
Hey, fat (phat) means good, so Bush being an "Evil f*%k" must mean he's down with the homies.....
And gay means "uncool". Wait till Theresa finds out she's married a guy who's gay. Not that there's anything Arianna found wrong with that.
Kerry's wife is so rich, everytime he goes to bed, it's a fundraiser.
To: Ichneumon
Why is it that it's the coloured girls who go, "doo dodoo...."? Couldn't the liberals in the Lou Reeds' band give a sister a break and NOT have them signing backup?
Stop the liberal music aparthid!!!!!
