[history]
WASHINGTON (CNN) --Under fire for saying that the United States should be even-handed in the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, 2004 Democratic presidential front-runner Howard Dean Wednesday said he would not abandon the long-standing policy of strong U.S. support for Israel.
The former Vermont governor said criticism of his remarks by presidential rival Sen. Joseph Lieberman was a "despicable" attempt to divide the Democratic Party, which has long enjoyed the support of many Jewish voters.

....Dean is a moral defective....
He knows that he and all his radical leftist cronies have the blood of the 911, Cole, African Embassies etc etc on their hands. He walks around with the guilt weighing heavy on his mind.
He insists that appeasement is the only course but in his heart he knows the appeasement of Clinton/Albright killed thousands of Americans.

I can't yet figure out the big picture here. I know that Hillary cannot afford to let Dean win if she thinks Bush is vulnerable---but it's too early for her to commit, because Bush is still above 50% with a weak economy and a war going on! So she has to tread water (at her cellulite level, not too tough).
Is Clark merely a speedbump to slow Dean down and string out the nomination process until Hillary makes up her mind? Will she allow Dean to actually get the nomination, then try to wrest it from him after the fact if she thinks that he might actually win? Fascinating.

Unfortunately, no signed copies of the covenant exist so it really doesn't matter anymore.

It does appear Rush is right on this one, that Dean is a hand grenade with the pin pulled. If someone releases, well, "Mr. Grenade is not our friend." Hi well might go mental.

"the more energized his base." Ahh, but at some point, the more they energize his base, the more they turn off the rank-and-file blue-collar non-nut Dems.

How about if Bush sends . . . Dean? Maybe to Iran? As an extrasupersecret envoy?

Re#43 It is hard to figure. Clark is supposedly in the 'Toon's camp to boot, having read he's got all the Clintonistas on board. Dean makes overture to Clark. Lieberman slams Dean with presstitutes help. Page Six of NY Post says Toons are out to sink Clark. Ketchup Boy's wife loses her meds and slaps him around (Okay, that I made up the last one) It is fascinating....

If Dean would just shut-up he might be able to hold out until the convention and get nominated. Bush would win 49 states at a minimum.

Should be members of Hamas are soldiers killers using mass murder of innocent civilians in that war.Sorta like Dresden?

This Steve Martin clone is a complete moron.
I mean really.
Dean also called on President Bush to "swallow his pride" and send former President Bill Clinton to the Middle East to salvage the peace process.
"I think Bill Clinton is the president who has come the closest to bringing Israelis and Palestinians together," he said. "Bill Clinton may just be the person we need to put those negotiations back on track."
Maybe a photo-op of Yassir french kissing the Hildabeast!

Dean also called on President Bush to "swallow his pride" and send former President Bill Clinton to the Middle East to salvage the peace process. Say what?? If Clinton is capable of salvaging the peace process why didn't he do it during the eight loooooong years he was president?
To: eureka!
All of this presumes, as many of us do, that the Toons still call the tunes. Perhaps we are wrong. Maybe they don't have the control over the party that we have ascribed to them.

Very true. Hence, the theory they want to take out Dean. Why they have the control in the first place is beyond me. Gotta run, have a great night. Say a prayer for the families of the 9/11 innocents and our brave troops as well, if you will...

Another great Deanism:
Other themes in Dean's campaigning include social justice and restoring community. When John Kerry was reported to have said that he could win without the South, Dean said "I do not want to win without the South. I want to go to the South and Im going to say to white guys that drive pick up trucks with Confederate flag decals on the back of their car, we want your vote too, because your kids dont have health insurance either."
